ghost·ing - The sudden and unexpected end of communication within a personal or professional relationship with no explanation or understood cause. We are here to say that ghosting is not a victimless crime and can have a profound impact on those who have been ghosted. Victims of ghosting can range from romantic partners, friends, and acquaintances to professionals who stay up at night wondering why a potential employer has suddenly ceased communication. These victims are feeling the impacts of ghosting on emotional levels that directly correlate to their overall wellbeing and mental health. Ghosting victims need resolution and a way to share their story. Ghost Souls began in July 2020 when a few grounded and motivated individuals got together and decided to talk openly about the dreaded monster called Ghosting, consistently eating away at our culture, societal norms and interpersonal bonds. We are here as a forum for victims to share their stories, register personal and professional ghosts, and be a part of a community that supports an end to ghosting.
