My mother, has resorted back to using alcohol and drugs to cope with the loss of her mother as of recently, and because of this, sheโs become a lot more hostile and abusive.
Just today alone she found out about my self harm tendencies (which Iโve had for years, no clue why she was surprised) and it turned into a whole fight about how sheโs the victim in this mess, how sheโs going to do the same thing to herself that I do to myself. Telling me Iโll never deserve her love or anyone elseโs because of my mental stability.
All of this mixed together with her drinking problem has resulted in physical and mental abuse to myself. But. Granted when I try to defend myself or even try to talk about said situation, I turn into the asshole and sheโs the victim.
Sheโs extremely good at making everyone around her believe sheโs the victim and IM the abusive one. To a point where my own family thinks Iโm in the wrong for acting out when Iโm abused.
Iโve been told I do not have basic human rights to protect myself or defend myself against her since I live under her roof. This has resulted in me having to accept being hit and slapped.
I have also been told sheโs not going to feed me, Iโm an adult now and I should worry about my own food.
I have talked to the police about this and there was nothing they could do without solid evidence. And Iโm unable to contact child services since Iโm over 18.
As most of you know, Iโve been trying to save up for months to be able to move out, but due to Covid, and being laid off of my job, Iโve lost almsot everything I had in order to move out. So Iโm once more at the bottom, with nothing trying to get out of this mess.
Iโve also lost every single one of my relatively close friends, so I cannot stay with them for a while until I figure this out, not that Iโd be allowed to leave the house to stay with them as it is.
So, once more, Iโm open to donations, Iโve also made an official commissions page for my jewelry stuffs. I currently will not offer art due to it taking too much time out of my already busy and stressful days.
I am currently looking for a job to help with this, but I donโt drive and I doubt my mother would take me to and from work everyday, so Iโm not sure how that would work.
Every single cent will go towards me being able to afford food for a while, and get out to get an apartment somewhere.
