BMW E31 M8 Prototype, 1990. BMW Classic have restored the prototype M8. The experimental car was built using an M Power 640hp DOHC V12 engine. It was decided the car would have to be priced beyond what the market could bare so it was never put into series production and remained a secret for 20 years until 2010. It has now been restored back to running order, including fabricated a new fuel tank.
