#DanielaBobadilla started a blog at https://lessonslearnedblog.com/ and I'm a little jealous. Not only does she have a lot of content of the bat, while I had an idea for a blog post a few weeks ago and haven't started it yet, but it also looks so good...

Brittany Murphy and Dakota Fanning in Uptown Girls from 2003.
I NEED TO TALK ABOUT UPTOWN GIRLS.
I was 9 (same age as Dakota Fanning) when this movie came out and I watched it more times than I can count. These ladies played so well off of each other, the spinning teacup scene has me in tears even THINKING about it!
I always loved Brittany Murphy, hers was the first celebrity death that had a big emotional impact on me. I think this movie encapsulates her luminance perfectly.
(Seriously though…this came out 17 years ago? I haven’t brought myself to watch it since my mom died, and now that my dads gone too the themes of parental loss may be too much for me.)
Yeah it’s a corny early 2000’s dramedy but it’s also sad and wise and beautiful and so fucking NOSTALGIC.
Talk about a good coming of age story,
The themes woven within this plot resonate with me a lot more these days.

So glad #Louise is releasing music again. I'm noticing how much I missed that.
I finished the new series of #FatherBrown. I rather like this series: even though it looks very old and is set in the fifties, its writing and themes are modern and can take you by surprise. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2215842/
#YouNetflix season three is coming! Let's hope Ellie will be back...

I think I understand why you can't find Joe out of #YouNetflix on any of his socials, because he's actually always on everybody else's.
