This remarkable embroidered coat was spotted in the 2013 fourth season of 𝑫𝒐𝒘𝒏𝒕𝒐𝒏 𝑨𝒃𝒃𝒆𝒚, where Laura Carmichael wore it as Edith. But did you know this piece has been in use since at least the 1970s?   In 1994, the costume appeared on Louise Lombard as Evangeline Eliott in 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑯𝒐𝒖𝒔𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝑬𝒍𝒊𝒐𝒕𝒕.   In 1974, she was seen on Rosalind Ayres as Christabel Carstairs in the episode of 𝑭𝒂𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝑩𝒓𝒐𝒘𝒏 entitled 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒅 𝒐𝒇 𝑪𝒂𝒆𝒔𝒂𝒓.   Want to see where else this coat was worn?
