tl;dr: mentally ill black artist looking to raise funds in order to cover debts in order to potentially get housing in place for when they officially get kicked out in December of 2025. Commission info below cut.

I'm making a kind of emergency post about my change in living situation that is coming up in three months in December; which might mean I will not have housing/a place to go possibly. a lot of things are falling through.

I thankfully have a fallback plan for my two cats but not for myself or my belongings atm, I cant work or get a job quite yet because of the fact I have college classes throughout the week this semester; I also have some health issues I need to get sorted so doctors appointments all over the place.

since where im going is in the air and on top of that, my fafsa is not coming through until October at the earliest, I need help! like a lot! i have debt i need to pay off and i need help w that totals to abt 600, a majority is credit card debt i want to get rid of and the rest is what i owe for my supplies relating to courses this semester.

im so sorry to ask for money again this month but we're in a really rough patch. my mother's been extremely, extremely stressed, for years now and it's obviously taking a toll on her health. her blood sugar is spiking severely, to the point she can barely eat because of it and has to work still in that condition. she's been prescribed ivs with super expensive (to us) medication. my grandparents paid for the first few doses but its expected the treatment will take a long time.

And it’s about the extermination.

I don’t really buy the idea that it ONLY would effect the sinners; a day as chaotic and horrific would not have clean results.

You mean to tell a day where heaven’s agents come and slaughter the populace wouldn’t be producing mass panic leading up to it? No one would be trampling each other to escape or traffic wouldn’t blow up with hellborne trying get to other rings? Turf wars getting exceedingly aggressive?

What about hellborne that are lower class like imps and hell hounds that end up in the crossfire- do the higher ups care if they die, because it don’t seem likely. If it’s not getting caught between a sinner and a holy blade, then what stops sinners slaughtering the hellborne for their own survival? How do buildings stay intact or safe? There’s no chance of “back to business” because of the ever growing sinner populace.

I don’t buy the extermination being THAT simple, pardons or not. A shame too, because there’s a lot of story and world building potential, mass destruction such as this doesn’t stay one sided.

I never wanna hear or see someone say that “hellaverse/Vivziepop is indie” ever again

'helluva boss is a story about rising above what a powerful world tries to tell you-' when the main character gets upset and raises his voice to a royal who has been belittling and speaking down to him for months, tells him 'we're not toys for you people to play with and discard', we are meant to perceive this as an act of cruelty on our mains part. the royal in question, even if subconsciously, has objectively been looking down upon and mistreating our main. this royal is our mains endgame relationship and has not acknowledged fault once.

ozzie, someone who is a royal himself, was going to let his lover's best friend die to an unfair justice system because his boss said so, and the writer of this actively liked posts defending ozzie's decision to do and say nothing. fizz depends on ozzie almost entirely, has just left an abusive workplace, and it goes as far as relying solely on ozzie to help with fizz's disability aids. ozzie's willingness to help is conditional and can be influenced by a higher power's decision alone.

this show has never been about standing up to a cruel and unjust authority. it's about surrendering yourself to the 'right' one.

if i can be a little more real than silly usually hyperbolic takes about a show i never liked very much i think what bothers me a lot about framing these shows as like, intending to uplift people is how fucking mean they are if you're a viewer who is fat or a woman or lgbt in any way that isnt a sexy cis gay man or poor or a vocally angry minority or a million other things.

i don't inherently really fault people massively for intending one thing in their writing and not sticking the landing, writing is hard, go figure. but when there is a clear demographic of people who you are obviously belittling, just innate characteristics they can't change, it feels disingenuous at best and cruel at worst to claim you're writing a story about finding love and hope in an unjust world. especially when the people you're belittling are statistically more likely to be victims of unjust systems.
