what happens when they finally feed on scraps and the craving devours them whole? or when they notice a past lover, equally desperate, getting an entire feast—even though they know they’re completely undeserving? does the inside of a person start to eat itself? how many times do they have to push the feeling down when they see a picture of an angelic butch girl with their tabby cat on tumblr—and fight the urge to comment: “i have something else for you to play with”?

I was wondering if you could share your writing process and how you come up with such brilliant topics to write about? I have found myself in such a writing funk recently and it seems that your account has found me at the perfect time to overcome the funk! <3

my progress of coming up with topics is pretty much all over the place. sometimes the idea hits me when i wake up in the morning. or when i’m remembering something from years ago. but if i’m really struggling with it, i usually just listen to music or watch a sex and the city episode. if worst comes to worst, i ask my subscribers on substack if they have ideas 😭😭

my advice is to find something you’re passionate about in the moment (like politics, a specific interest, a particular moment in your life), and just run with it. often then not, you’ll get some good material for a topic!!

in today's atmosphere, violence is a nuisance to most of us. it lives beneath our days like a neighbor's booming music. we look outside our apartment window and see a building across town exploding. we record a quick video, post it, and then return to bed. if the rumor is true, that we all died and are rotting in the depths of hell, why isn't the torture over yet? surely you'd think the devil would be bored by now. where's the fun in your wickedness when your victims are no longer surprised by it? when you slap them across the face and they remain still? where's the joy in witnessing them become desensitized?
