No words needed I don’t think, I was just enjoying playing about with this Bosch quick release arbour! I bout this set a while ago and never really used it until now! Something we all no doubt have to do but don’t often talk about for whatever reason is the business side of business. It’s not enough to just be a good electrician, (other trades are available) 😆 In particular no one seems to talk about sales, customer acquisition and the likes. I think we put sales and cold calling down to those pesky PPI folks and scams of all sorts but it’s all something we do ourselves at some point. I’ve realised a few things over the last month, one of them being, no one’s going to come find me and offer me work or some magical deal that’s too good to be true. They do exist though so what am I doing about it. So for the last week or two I’ve got my list and I’ve been reaching out and making contact, trying to start relationships and create opportunities. Been a while since I had this guy out! Had to take a payment over the phone so dusted it off and had to learn how to use it again 😝 I got this ages ago because I wanted to make it easier for customers to pay and in any way they wanted. To be honest, I’ve not had much request for it and after a bit just stopped taking it with me. Does anybody else use or used card machines? The days are gone of the “go getter” or “tea maker”! Who could afford such a waste anyway! We need to make our apprentices an asset as soon as possible and the only way is to get them involved, and by that I mean, showing isn’t enough, they have to do it over and over and yes mess it up but that’s the best way to learn!
