So I forgot my grandpa is dead. I never really mourned him, and hes been dead for almost 4 years.

But tonight I realized, I'm never going to see that house on the mountain in kachina village again. I'm never going to see my grandpas garden again, or see the projection screen we painted when I was 5.

I hate everyone on that side of my family, even my own father... but I loved my grandpa so much. I wish id gotten to say goodbye.

I love you grandpa. I'm sorry I didn't get to see you when you were going through chemo. I'm sorry I couldn't work things out with dad. I miss you. I know I didn't call, I didn't even write, but I thought about you all the time.

i have a margarita in my belly, and so bed seems so much more tempting.
