We have wrapped up our Avernus adventures! We have fortunately survived, but did not emerge unscathed.

Our incredible DM (Elleeeee) has put a story together for us to continue playing with our original party so the band is getting back together. I wanted to do a new lineup to showcase our new looks. 👀 And I took some inspiration from DAI for some new Roll20 tokens.

Many horrors await us as we head into this next stage of play and I am both terrified and unbelievably excited! (SOOOON)

This gang have BEEN THROUGH IT. Two OG party members are back on the material plane dealing with the difference in how time moves. Meanwhile one dwarf is trying her best, and is having good god dad giving her pep talks and treats, and trying to keep her motivated and alive. One half-elf turned aasimar sorcerer turned Paladin is only one bad day away from breaking their oaths. One human is eyeing up all the legendary items this party is carrying and wondering at what point they should just steal the swords and bail. One half-elf left her toddler on the material plane to come and find her 'dead' sibling, only to find them dramatic and mostly dead. And one half-elf is so very dead, but now with extra purpose and urgency.

Hell is great. Food is terrible however. 3.5 stars.

We have had some changes in the party. 8) Bellamy's back (aaaah), and their sister has come looking for them, and Iliné's player has a new character who is just delightful. I love this gang!

I made a new sheet for Bellamy to help me track some physical changes they have been submitted to whilst trapped in their own shadow. The left arm scars are pre-hell though, because you have to commemorate surviving a crit from a giant shark that nearly downs you from full hp. :')

Our GM absolutely wrecked us last session. 🙏There were huge story reveals, blessings from deities, a death (and rebirth), some goodbyes.

Accidentally deleted the original a while back so I thought I'd redo it 'cuz I quite liked the post. But then I'd done a pic with the new member of the crew after one of them left the narrative (no i'm fine how are you) so call this version 1.22474487139... of that post, I guess?

So, a while back @gingerbreadcai did some gorgeous stained glass art of Free Drinks, the bar trivia turned adventurers from a Waterdeep campaign. And then, to celebrate the start of their next big adventure, I thought I'd play around with those versions of their younger selves and the people they became in the five years after.

I can't draw with any of @gingerbreadcai 's skill, but I do okay with the ol' studio of Daz in translating some of the superlative looks made for the five-year timejump into computer dollies, so here we go:

So, Free Drinks are cruising around Hell in an Infernal Engine trying to find a way to [SPOILER] [SPOILER] so [SPOILER] can [SPOILER] (it's a published module that also intersects with a major video game release in places, I'm trying to be nice) and got them some Mad Max/Wasteland looks 'cuz you don't cruise through the sundown heat of the First Circle without making sure your clothes breathe at least a little bit.

They're a party member down (they got turned into a shadow ball and put into a sword) and, not long after these were put together, down one more. But for now,

Also, I never uploaded theeese - they're from almost a year ago now.

Sometimes you're just a sheltered orphan from an arcane tower and also your childhood best friend who you haven't seen in a couple of years turns out to be a cult leader?? Absolutely tragic. My DM broke my heart into little pieces and I thanked her. :')

This campaign is currently on hiatus but who knows, maybe Maeve will help save the Dessarin Valley someday.
