The author published a one-shot with the same title back in Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #42 2002. No more details are known yet.
“So, how is the new year going?”
“Happy new year!”
To the person on Twitter who posted a Gintoki x Shinpachi yaoi erotica fanart, please file an immediate international apology to me, my eyes, and really just everyone.
I'm hoping with all my soul that they keep Kagayaita in the movie. As well as the ost during kagura/abutos fight. Please give me this :(

The action comedy comic by Hideaki Sorachi will be adapted into a film, which is expected to debut in Japanese theaters in 2026.
@ everyone in my life right now, you've never watched Gintama and it shows.
