Coming back to the (almost) OG blog

Actually, the OG blog was LiveJournal, but I deleted that account. However, these days I find myself missing the simple joy of having a personal blog to share silly things. Tumblr is not what it used to be, but the Internet is not what it used to be, and it's difficult to find another platform that feels alive nowadays.

I'll start using this as a personal blog, a place to ramble and rant and shout, and maybe cry. I miss being an active participant in social media, and I miss the fandom spaces we used to have. So, if I mostly ramble about my fandoms, do not be surprised.

Anyway, even if I can't make any new connections by reviving this blog. It will be nice to simply write without expectations.

In Never let me go, why does Palm not live with Chanon at the start of the show and is he living alone?

I don't know if I missed it while watching the show or if it was never talked about.

We know his mom left them when he was a kid, then he got sick and Nuengdiao's dad helped them with the hospital bills, but what happened later? Did Chanon start working for the family right after as a payment? If so where did Palm live from that time until the show?

I thought maybe with the uncle Chanon mentions to Mrs. Tanya when she is introducing Palm, something about him being a year behind on school because he had to take care of a sick uncle.

But later we see that it was actually Mrs. Tanya who told Chanon she was worried about Nuengdiao and that's when Chanon decided to bring Palm with him. So I'm not sure if anything said during the scene where Palm was introduced was true or they were just pretending for Nuengdiao.
