and Clear has the greenish-yellow tie and his bear has the matching scarf

one thing this really highlights (with the white suit outfits) is that they tailored Virus & Trip’s shirts for this. Also, all the bears were handmade somehow. why are the ppl with rape fetishes the most boring mother fuckers in the planet, they want to make characters so flat and then sexually assault them into having a personality. does! not! compute! like if youre going to insist on that being in your yaoi games, why do you praise being fed scraps? unrealistic or uninteresting motivations? characters completely abandoning all sense and previous characterization for... what? like shouldnt the "joy" be how it causes giant amounts of conflict and how fucked up it is? why do you make the rape into something so one dimensional if you apparently love it so much???? so my conclusion on slowdame is that 75% of it was TRASH and the rest of it was good to great. hated takus route. hated madarames route. found reis middling and uninteresting but not bad. loved 90% of fujieda's route. super inconsistent storytelling, lots of bad writing, not nearly as consistent as DMMD. slowdame had better music, really good aesthetics, though had a LOT of wonky character art....

though i will say towa is one of the best protagonists of anything ever.

dmmd is still the crowned undefeated champ of yaoi and anyone saying slowdame is "high art" needs to play dmmd again. and also touch grass and watch something that isnt marvel movies and thus gain what we the experts call "taste". slowdame is heavily flawed and isnt nearly as good as half of you pretend it is and tbh a lot of the praise is delusional and also just... lying... making up things that clearly didnt happen

also madarame was a boring, flat, uninteresting character that actually added little of consequence, his entire route was superfluous and lacked actual bite, and was edgy in the most flaccid way possible. boo boo tomato tomato

a think a lot of slowdame fans care more about ideas existing than about their execution. just because slow damage mentions ideas and concepts does not make them well-developed. every fandom interpretation of like, madarame or madatowa have been like reylo levels of delusional and pulling character traits out of thin air to justify their rape fetish.

like if youre going to include rape fetish in your story be interesting and nuanced or dont do it. "i rape you to fix you" is not an interesting concept, problematique or not. its just not entertaining in any way. you have to invent nonexistent themes or plot or character traits in order to make madarame's route interesting.

also abuse aside it was the least believable thing ever like madatowa did NOT earn its "good end". even if youre an abuse fetishist or smth its BORING levels of contrived. also i feel that route is a big disrespect to towas character, especially the "good end" which has him apparently find self-actualization through rape and abandoning everyone who tried to show him unconditional love and support so he can run away from his homeland with his rapist and get the shit beaten out of him forever. the only way that can be a happy ending is through pure contrivance. boring. flat. boo. tomato.
