Some advices for studying
Hello! In many countries, studies are underway, in some countries studies have not begun yet, in some countries there are vacations now. I want to share with you tips for a good study.
1. Sleep well. A good sleep affects your overall well-being during the day. There are several factors that affect sleep: nutrition, the presence of health problems, emotional experiences, noise on the street, etc. Sleep is affected by what you did before bed.
Before going to bed, you should: Eat a good (but not hearty) meal.
Take a little walk outside.
If you are nervous before an exam/test/control work then you should drink some tea. Tea with mint and (or) lemon balm is usually recommended. The main thing is to abuse this tea. Some herbs and teas have diuretic properties.
Before bed you SHOULDN'T:
Listen to a lot of loud music. Spend a lot of time on your phone. There may be problems not only with sleep, but also with health.
Take a lot of sleeping pills. This is fraught with very serious problems, up to including death.
Watch horror movies. This has a very strong effect on sleep and what will be dreamed. What you dream about affects your future sleep and the rest of the day.
Taking various sad events to heart. This is fraught not only with poor sleep, but also with further health and heart problems.
Chafe. It has a very negative effect on sleep.
2. Listen carefully to the teacher. Try to write down the learning material that the teacher says. This affects how you will pass control works, tests, and exams. In some countries, exam grades and certificate scores greatly affect admission to the chosen university / college.
Study things you SHOULDN'T be upset about:
Bad grades. This can always be fixed. I also had bad grades, but this did not prevent me from winning the stage of the competition and successfully passing the exams and entering the university.
If you're late. There are many reasons: road, traffic, business. I was running late for school mainly because of problems with my school bus. Once, due to weather conditions, the bus broke down, and I arrived in the second half of the lesson. But the teacher listened to me anyway, and as a result, I got a good grade. Conclusion : preparation is the main thing here.
Bullying at school. This is a very sensational topic. I also faced bullying, unfortunately. Mainly because of my interests and lifestyle. I'm a metalhead, I didn't have time for games and walks because the school bus was late and I only had time for homework.
If you missed classes, then you should contact your classmates and find out what topic (topics) was (were) in the lesson (or lessons), what homework is. If classmates don't respond on time, then don't be afraid to ask the teacher. In this case, don't be offended by your classmates, they may be busy.
3. Don't quarrel with the teacher. This affects the teacher's attitude towards the student and the student's performance in school.
4. Eat. Eat a lot but healthy food. It affects health and the body and mental faculties. Don't hesitate to ask the teacher for tea if you're cold. Buy a snack if possible.
5. Focus on your work. This will help you get the highest grade.
6. Don't be so shy if you have some health problems. Ask your teacher for help. If you feel sick in class, then go to the subject teacher. If it's at break, then go to the teacher on duty, if there are any.
7. Be happy! Studying at school is not difficult. There are more difficult things, like studying at university or working. School years are considered to be the happiest years in a person's life. Try to find contacts with other students even from other countries, there are various social networks for this.
I hope these tips will help you learn and grow well
