One thing that really annoyed me was this trend where people would put the text "don't buy nail glue from SHEIN" and then show a video of SHEIN nail glue reacting with a carpeted floor, making the carpet smoke. The reason this annoyed me was that not only out of all the unethical and factual evidence showing SHEIN is a bad company they show this, but also because this reaction happens with all nail glue. The people that jumped on this trend didn't care if you bought from a harmful company or not, they just used a piece of information taken out of context as a trend to farm views. (Not trying to call this lady out specifically, I just hate the trend as a whole).

You don't have to know everything about a fandom to consider yourself a fan or part of that fandom. I consider myself a green day fan and I don't know every song. Why? Because I genuinely like a lot of the music and consider it an interest of mine. I consider myself a fan of JJK but I haven't watched the third season or read the manga. I consider myself a fan because I enjoy the concept, plot, and characters. Being a "fan" of something isn't measurable, it's up to the individual and the individual only because they could lie about it but they would actually know if they were a fan or not. The use of the terms "poser" and "larper" has gotten so out of hand to shame and push people out of communities and then you complain about no one enjoying your interests? The use of these terms to gatekeep interests is genuinely so pathetic and there's literally no point in it

The arguments of immigrants being "dangerous" is entirely built off of xenophobia and racism. And to people that just say to immigrate the legal way, it's almost impossible and takes a lot of money and time. The system is designed to keep immigrants that are specifically people of color out of the United States. Some people need to immigrate to have a better life.
