𝑅𝑜𝑠𝑒 ℎ𝑎𝑖𝑟 🌸 🤍 I started this painting two days ago testing a different brush in photoshop, so the sketch came out like that.. ugly. Then I went back to my dearest (brush) and then things started to flow. I love these textures that the brush leaves, kinda messy. Well, my goal is not to do something hyper realistic, with every hair in the right place. But yes, as I kindly call it in my thoughts: a "tidy mess", as in a traditional painting, with the brushstrokes often well demarcated, where the shadows and shapes create the details in our mind, but without losing the smoothness. And digital painting is wonderful (despite the pain in my back and neck after hours in front of the computer), but I miss the pencils, the paints, the brushes. I think I will always be acting on both. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Andddd do you like traditional (oil, acrylic, watercolor) or digital painting more? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Ps.: I want to dye my hair that color. 😍 ———————⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Comecei essa pintura há dois dias testando um brush diferente no photoshop, por isso o esboço saiu assim, feinho. Depois voltei pro meu queridinho e aí sim as coisas começaram a fluir. Adoro essas texturas que o brush vai deixando, meio bagunçadinho. Meu objetivo não é fazer algo hiper realista, com cada fiozinho de cabelo no lugar. Mas sim, como eu carinhosamente denomino em pensamento: uma "bagunça arrumada", como numa pintura tradicional, com as pinceladas muitas vezes bem demarcadas, onde as sombras e as formas criam na nossa mente os detalhes, mas sem perder a suavidade. E a pintura digital é maravilhosa (apesar da dor nas costas e pescoço depois de horas em frente ao computador), mas sinto falta dos lápis, das tintas, dos pincéis.
