Happy Mother's Day to those of you who've given to your children out of love... protected them physically, mentally, and emotionally... and helped them blossom into something uniquely them and beautiful.

Moms are people too and far from perfect, but they are looking out for their children's best, shielding them from the pains in life, teaching them to bear the hurts, and sitting with them through the struggles.

Some mothers are not that. Some have too many of their own demons to be a mom. Unfortunately this is the case for so many out there. So to those who deal with a day like today with such mixed feelings, may we celebrate and be thankful for the chance at life we've been given, love our moms as best we can even if it's from afar and they don't know how to accept it, and still have the peace of mind to take care of ourselves without being buried by guilt.

Happy Mother's Day to all you beautiful, strong women who fight to be the best at motherhood. It doesn't go unnoticed or unappreciated.
