This just came to mind for me, but for In To The Woods, what do you think would happen it if followed the “Better World” timeline, i.e., Ford does not get pushed into the portal and Stan takes away journal 1 and he becomes a rich and famous scientist. Do you think he and Reader would heal their marriage? Would Reader file for divorce anyways and live her life as a stylish divorcee who got half of Ford’s things? Would she try to find Stan on the road and travel with him?

Honestly, in this scenario I don't think she would have ever gotten with Stan but I also think she would have gone through with divorcing Ford. The only reason she's able to forgive him towards the end is because SO MUCH time has passed and he's lowkey wet and pathetic.

(This is all assuming Bill is somehow out of the picture)

She would have likely found someway to get away and lived alone with Charlie, maybe eventually she would reach out and get in touch with Caryn so her son could have a relationship with what little family he did have.
