thinking about how physical Cain gets after you choose his route. Not even in a sexual way entirely, just something about him being so cuddly and hand holdy with you >.<
- Giuseppe is the one who got him into Monopoly... he has had to "lose" to Cain many times (he's laundering money under the table)
- the glasses he wears at the university are prescription!! he needs them when doing paperwork
- gets cold easily so he always steals Abel's long sleeves when he's around
- in the Confession spinoff he admits he cried when reading "his" students' ratings... it made me think that since he's so reserved and barely has a true social circle, this is the closest people have gotten to him in a while. he must be pretty sensitive when it comes to personal critiques, especially since we can assume he didn't grow up with friends/age-appropriate social life. Cain probably holds the MC's impression of him higher than he'd care to admit
- him and Giuseppe swap books every so often, although he usually isn't super thrilled to receive one of Giuseppe's cheesy romances...
- ^^ after him and Florian connect at camp, they end up recommending books to one another, which Cain enjoys FAR more! Florian has an abundance to share, and is weirdly into realistic horror books...
- since he doesn't do much in his spare time other than paperwork (according to Unai/Núria from a Q&A), Giuseppe has tried to get him into different hobbies. he's tried knitting (ended up stabbing the yarn skein out of frustration), sports (bad. see: Sports Day. stick with golf, king), music (not that bad with guitar but it doesn't keep his attention), gardening (enjoyed the digging part), and whittling (not creative enough. ended up just cutting the wood into nothing)
- Cain enjoys listening to podcasts about business, true crime, and pop culture. all great study materials for being a Normal Citizen!
- enjoys going on vacations to places he's never been. he can't help but yearn for the sense of community that comes in trying something new as a foreigner to excited natives!
- ^^ in the past it's always been him and Giuseppe going to these places, but now that he has friends/a partner, he's excited for opportunities to take them along, too. what is this desire to build memories with the ones he loves???
- worst texter ever. he'll respond and react to everything, but it's rare to get more than "OK" or "Yeah" out of him
- back to his bad social skills: he's a serial killer, so he's got the charisma to talk (or kill) himself out of any situation. but when it comes to the people he's close to, he can drop that facade. this often costs him as he frequently says the wrong thing and has to learn how to apologize/be more empathetic
- giving love language: gift-giving (mostly in the beginning) and quality time. receiving: words of affirmation and (later) physical touch
- once he and the MC get closer in their relationship, he finds out that he hates sleeping alone. he feels like his demon is waiting for him in the darkness or that something bad is happening to MC whenever they're apart
- ^^ would not be opposed to the MC living in one of the spare rooms in his mansion
- bad at taking care of himself. Giuseppe has to remind him to eat some days because he genuinely doesn't think about it
- likes to spar with Abel! he has fun, though the two can get a little too into it sometimes
- loves to dance. he had teachers come in when he was younger for the purpose of events like galas or fundraisers, but ended up enjoying it a lot. he's even been the one to offer help to Abel for theatre (though not without consequences)
- secretly spends a lot of time on TokTik...
- likes to swim!! loves the pool, loves the beach, loves to be on a boat, etc. had a blast during camp because of the lake! he mostly took over water activities, though he was close to drowning Florian a few times
- begrudgingly learned how to braid for Abel when his phantom pains are too much for him to use his right hand
- likes the classiness of the opera. he gets excited when he can do "Rich Guy" things -- not because he's a nepo baby, but because he feels fancy
- watches old Power Rangers episodes when he's sick or sad. sometimes he will watch Glee with Giuseppe, but he can't handle it for long
- you can tell when Giuseppe is on leave/on a solo mission because Cain gets super clingy and does everything he can to not be at his house. he also gets "creative" and starts proposing wild ideas that Giuseppe would usually redirect him from
- MC brings him to a cat cafe for the first time and he nearly dies. he never knew he needed to be smothered
- has an ongoing private list of things MC mentions in passing. he knows too much and enjoys surprising them!
- forgets to lock doors constantly. also a serial leaver-opener (mf can't close a drawer to save his life. has turned around and slammed his face into countless kitchen cabinets)
- used to his own crazy lifestyle, Cain often forgets that the MC isn't and accidentally scars them with his casual admissions/actions. has been confused as to why the MC doesn't know what happens when you slash a major artery... what do you mean you didn't know people can blink after they die??
