This necklace grew out of my reflections on Persephone and her fate. I first painted an illustration as a response to the question of whether Persephone remained a victim or found her own story within the one that had been chosen for her. The pomegranate heart then moved from the painting into this piece of jewelry, carrying a part of that question with it. What do you think the answer is?

A family of Raskovniks.
