As you may have noticed, I’ve been incredibly inactive as of late and I think that it’s time to move on. I’ve grown so much in the past year and I think that it’s best if I quit here and move to Instagram where I’m a lot more active. So, I hate to say it, but ever since my replies have come to a full halt on this blog, I just haven’t felt the motivation to keep going. I’m sorry

I apologize for my lack of activity as of late, and I regret to inform you all that it won’t be picking up any time soon. I just haven’t been inspired at all lately and I’m not really feeling Sasha anymore. I’m putting this blog on full hiatus until further notice. I’ve also been dealing with some personal matters that I’d prefer not to get into. Thank you for your patience, this is goodbye for now.

Sasha was startled by the king’s sudden appearance, but immediately calmed down once she realized who he was. “Thank you for helping me adjust to my new life. I really appreciate it, and I wish I had some way to pay you back. Would this work?” she asked, pressing her lips softly against his. She pulled away after a few seconds, a light blush on her cheeks.

The scout rolled out the dough and coated the outside with brown sugar and cinnamon. She then rolled it into one long roll and divided it into sections using a rather large knife. She spread them out evenly and iced them, putting them in the oven. “Now all we need to do is wait.

The man waited patiently with a smile placed on his features for the current time being. He allowed his mind to drift off into his thoughts for the current time being and then nodded his head. “Patients is key, yes.”

Sasha sighed, sitting down. “This was a family recipe, you know. My mother used to make these for my dad and I since I was a kid. They’re probably not gonna be as good as hers seeing as I don’t really bake that often, but it’s worth a shot.” she said, smiling at the king.

“I know exactly what I want and who I want to be. I know exactly why I walk and talk like a machine. I’m now becoming my own self fulfilled prophecy. Oh, oh no, oh no, oh no-oh!” Sasha sang, turning off the water and stepping out of the shower. She dried herself off and wrapped a towel around herself, heading to her bedroom to get ready for the day. She had an especially long lecture by professor Levi to look forward to and the sooner she got going, the more time she had to stop by her favourite café. She got dressed, did her makeup, packed her bags, and headed out.

Scarlett was sitting in the local library doing some homework when she started humming the song that Sasha had been singing. Her best friend who was called Jack looked up at her.

“What are you humming?” He asked.

“Oh no! By Marina and the diamonds.” Scarlett replied. “It’s stuck in my head for some reason.” She shrugged. The two friends continued doing their homework before they made their way home. Once they got home, Scarlett started making dinner. She turned on the radio as she cooked.

“What a feeling, Being’s believin’. I can have it all, now I’m dancing for my life.” Scarlett sang while dancing around the kitchen. “Take your passion, and make it happen. Pictures come alive, you can dance right through your life.”

“Braus, please stop that. Especially while I’m in the middle of a lecture.” warned  professor Levi, resuming his lecture about biology. Sasha tried to fight it, but the urge to hum the song stuck in her head, specially Flashdance… What a Feeling by Irene Cara, was too strong. She hummed to herself quietly, gathering odd looks from her classmates. She took notes, wondering why this was happening.

“Let’s get down to business, to defeat the huns. Did they send me daughters, when I asked for sons.” Scarlett sang next with no shame. She loved Disney songs so much. “You’re the saddest I ever met, but you can bet before we’re through. Mister, I’ll make a man out of you.” Jack rolled his eyes and laughed at his best friend.

Sasha walked back home, humming I’ll Make A Man Out Of You. She didn’t know why she had it stuck inside of her head, she hadn’t watched Mulan in years. She came to the conclusion that she had heard it somewhere and kept going.

Scarlett finished cleaning up the kitchen and got ready to go out on the beach with Jack and a couple of friends from school. She pulled on her coat and left her house.

The brunette unlocked the front door of her apartment and walked in, removing her shoes at the front door. She was feeling rather peckish and was hungry for something sweet, so she went to the kitchen and got out the necessary materials to make cinnamon rolls. She set her phone on the counter and hit shuffle on her favourite playlist, getting to work. “Gina works the diner all day, working for her man, she brings home her pay, for love, for love…”

Scarlett hummed softly to herself as she worked on her homework with Jack. Specifically the song ‘Livin on a prayer’. Jack gave her a weird look, raising an eyebrow. “What?” She asked. “It’s stuck in my head.”

Jack shook his head. “Maybe your soulmate is singing it.” He joked. Scarlett rolled her eyes and giggled softly.

Sasha finished making her cinnamon rolls and left them out to cool. She set a place for herself on the table and poured herself a glass of milk while she waited. She grabbed her phone and was about to watch some vines when Connie walked in. “I smell cinnamon rolls.” he said bluntly, stepping into the kitchen. Sasha nodded. “We can’t eat them yet. Well, unless you wanna burn your tongue.”

Scarlett sat next to Jack as he played Legend of Zelda, watching him take on the Divine Beasts and the other shrines. Scarlett yawned and stretched, getting up to start on dinner. Jack joined her in the kitchen, pausing his game.

“You are, my fire. The one desire. Believe. When I say, I want it that way.” Scarlett and Jack both sang along to Backstreet Boys while making spaghetti bolognese.

The second Sasha told Connie not to touch them, he grabbed one and shoved it in his mouth. “AH! FUCK! IT BURNS!” he yelled, grabbing glass of milk Sasha had poured for herself and pouring it into his mouth. Sasha couldn’t help but giggle. “I told you to wait! This is what you get for not listening to me!”

6. the one where when you dream you’re seeing whatever your soulmate is currently experiencing.

Sasha finished brushing her teeth, taking her hair out of its usual ponytail. “Goodnight, Connie!” she called to her roommate, knowing he was already asleep. She went to her bedroom and laid down on her bed, thinking about how she did on the test she had the other day. No matter, she thought, I’ll find out tomorrow… She closed her eyes, falling asleep.

Scarlett was up at the lighthouse as usual with her best friend Jack. It had become a tradition, after training at the dojo or just having a lazy day at home. They sat by the lighthouse, chucking rocks into the water.

They chatted for a bit, enjoying the breeze and the nice weather that wasn’t really typical for Scotland.

Sasha found herself outside of a lighthouse with a man that was unfamiliar to her. Words came out of her mouth, words that weren’t hers. She chucked rocks into a body of water against her will. She was used to having some control over her dreams, but this dream wasn’t like the others. She watched on, wondering who’s eyes she was seeing through.

Scarlett and Jack continued chucking rocks into the water before getting up. Jack yawned and stretched, cracking his knuckles. They walked back to their house where they just relaxed and played video games.

Sasha watched, feeling at ease. She found herself really into the game they were playing and was about to uncover an important piece of information when her alarm went off. She bolted upright, hitting the snooze button and trying to fall back asleep. No luck. She shut off her alarm, getting ready for the day.

Scarlett sighed, watching Jack get into the game. “Hey Jack?” She asked.

“Hm?” Jack wasn’t paying much attention. “What’s up?”

“I’ve been having these weird dreams.” She said, looking at Jack. Jack glanced at her.

“Well, they say that you are seeing what your soulmate is experiencing.” Jack shrugged.

“F-fifty percent?” said Sasha, staring at her test in disbelief. “Damn, you really bombed it this time.” said her friend Jean, looking at his mark. “What did you get?” the brunette asked, hoping she wasn’t the only one with a bad mark. Jean showed her his paper. “Eighty-five?” Sasha said in disbelief. Jean nodded.   Sasha hung her head. “I should’ve studied more…”

Scarlett yawned, slowly falling asleep on the sofa. She found herself with a boy, looking at some test. Scarlett didn’t know who this boy was or what the test was even on.

“Cheer up, Sash. Let’s go out for some ice cream, alright? I’m paying.” said Jean. Sasha smiled. “That sounds like a good idea.” she replied as they walked off campus to their favourite ice cream place.

Scarlett smiled as she followed the boy to the ice cream place. “I love ice cream.” Scarlett thought. Scarlett wondered who the boy was. But was the girl’s name Sasha? Scarlett didn’t get to see anymore because she was woken up by Jack.

“What?” Scarlett asked annoyed.

Sasha and Jean got their cones and sat down. They discussed everything from politics to what colour Ymir’s panties were in an attempt to take Sasha’s mind off the test. It had worked for a bit, but then Jean decided to bring up Professor Hanji’s love life. “Come on, Sasha, it’s not even worth that much! It’s 5% not including exams!” 

The brunette sighed. “If only I hadn’t stayed up to watch that movie…”

Scarlett sighed, wondering what Sasha was like. And what her friends were like. Where did she even live? Maybe there would come a chance where Scarlett would meet her. She let out a sigh.

Jean punched her in the shoulder. “Don’t let it get you down. You’re better than that.” Sasha sighed, licking her ice cream. “Hey Jean?” she asked idly, staring at the wall. Jean cocked his head. “I had a weird dream last night. Do you know anything about it?”

"Hey uh, Sasha? I have something to show you. It's easier if I show you because you'll just think I'm crazy otherwise."

“What is it?” asked Sasha curiously. She was in the middle of polishing the silverware like she was told to, but this seemed urgent.

“Well um.. just follow me.” Scarlett said, walking out of the building, getting a few confused looks from the others. She walked to a clearing where there were a collection of trees. Scarlett took a deep breath.

“Jack? You can come out now. I brought a friend!” She called. There was a soft growl and a 7M Titan walked out. It had long-ish black-brown hair that was styled like a man-bun and brown eyes. It had a massive set of teeth and markings down its shoulders and arms. And a six pack.

Scarlett turned to face Sasha with a nervous chuckle. “Heh, tada?”

Sasha stared up at the titan, the corner of her mouth twitching in an awkward smile. She tried to speak, but all it came out as was a mess of awkward squeaks and assorted sounds. Her brain was working in overdrive to comprehend what she was seeking. “H-h-hello…!”

“Don’t worry, he won’t hurt you!” Scarlett walked closer to the titan, who leaned down and wanting pets. Scarlett giggled and gently patted his cheek.

“I don’t know if he’s actually called Jack or if he just liked the name. I also don’t know if he’s like Eren or not.” Scarlett looked up at Jack. “Jack, meet Sasha. She’s a close friend of mine.”

Sasha grinned awkwardly. She had never been introduced to a titan before, so this was definitely a new experience. She stood still, every muscle in her body frozen with fear. 

“H-hi…”

The titan just stared at Sasha, tilting his head curiously at her. Scarlett stepped back to stand next to Sasha as Jack straightened up.

Sasha was frozen in fear, reminded of the battle for Trost.

"Who's a good titan? You're a good titan!" Scarlett said, stroking underneath a Titan's chin. The Titan purred and stomped his foot a few times. The titan had brown hair in a style of a bun and brown eyes with a few teeth on his cheeks. (I couldn't resist I'm sorry XD)

Sasha watched, amazed at how calm she was considering that she was five inches away from the titan’s mouth. She could be swallowed whole at any moment.

Surprisingly, the titan put her down and growled. Scarlett looked up at the Titan. “Thank you.” She said. The Titan growled and stood up straight.

Sasha was in shock as she stared up at the titan. The corner of her mouth twitched. “H-how…”

“I guess you could call me a ‘Titan tamer.’” Scarlett joked, giggling softly.

“Y-yeah...” Sasha replied, unable to say anything more.

Soulmate AU where one of your eyes is your soulmate's eye colour. (Can be modern or canon verse. Unless you want them to be from different worlds XD)

(We’ll go with a high school au because those are easier to write.)

Sasha sighed, staring at the clock. She had fifteen minutes left of class, fifteen minutes that felt like an eternity. The student behind her passed her a note. She opened it, her bicolored eyes reading it over. ‘I’m so bored…’ was written, and she instantly identified it as her friend Connie’s handwriting. ‘Same, honestly.’ she wrote, passing it back. This day couldn’t have dragged on any longer.

Scarlett let out a sigh, glancing at the clock in her history class. Her bicolored eyes glancing around the classroom at her friends who were writing down notes. Everyone had gotten used to Scarlett’s different colored eyes, since that it was a sign of your soulmate. It had been a shock at first when she came in with one vibrant green eye and the other being a golden-brown colour. Once the bell rang, Scarlett got up and packed her things away, meeting up with her friends. Scarlett still had no idea who her soulmate was.

“So, you any closer to telling Jaeger how you feel?” asked Connie, genuinely curious. “Not so loud!” hissed Jean, shoving him as they exited the school. “Not yet, but I’m thinking…” Sasha smiled. This was a daily occurrence with them, but she didn’t mind. If anything, she found it rather entertaining. “If you’re not too busy, do you guys wanna come over to hang out?” she asked, wondering if that bag of chips was still in the pantry. The two boys nodded as they headed in the direction of Sasha’s house.

Scarlett hummed softly as she walked down the path with her friend Jack and her other friends, Alexa, Lexi and Alfred. They laughed and went to the local ice cream parlor. They ordered and sat at one of the tables, talking about the day.

“You think you’ll ever meet your soulmate Scar?” Alexa asked.

“I don’t know, maybe I will at some point. They could be anywhere.” Scarlett replied.

“Dammit! Why am I always the one who dies first?” Jean exclaimed, dropping his controller in frustration. Connie and Sasha were left to fight to the death, Connie coming out on top. “No fair, you pushed me off the edge!” said Sasha, shoving him. “Oh, come on, Sash, you were just begging to get shoved off. And it’s your fault for choosing a heavyweight.” Connie replied nonchalantly. Sasha sighed. “You do have a point...”

“You are so!” said Sasha, giggling a bit.

Scarlett whined and covered her face. “Stop..”

Sasha punched her in the arm playfully. “If I’m being completely honest, it’s kind of cute.”

Riza shuddered away from the hand that was placed on her forehead, and looked up at the voice that had asked the question. It took her a moment to process the question, and to place her thoughts in order. Was she sick? She certainly didn’t feel well. She was hot, and her throat felt dry, and her head hurt.

“I…I’m not sure,” she said. “But I don’t feel well.” She leaned over, resting her forehead on her fist. “I’m sorry…can you help me back to a place I know well? I can get help or contact someone from there.” She wasn’t sure what she was nearest, and her head was pounding, but she was sure that she could find someone to get in touch with someone she knew for help.

“Um, well, it seemed like a normal cold at first but after letting her rest for about half an hour her condition got worse from there. It all happened so fast, I didn’t quite know what to do…” Sasha tried to answer as clearly as she could, but was still rather shaken by the whole experience. She took a deep breath in an attempt to calm herself, but that didn’t work out so well. I could really use a baked potato…

The nurse nodded. “Alright, thank you,” the nurse said cheerily. “Don’t worry, I think you did the right thing. Her fever is pretty high, so bringing her here was the right thing, especially if you were uncertain as to what steps to take.”

She flipped a page and smiled at Sasha again. “Okay, so, can you tell me your relationship with the patient? How do you know her and how did you bring her here?”

“Well…” said the scout, rubbing the back of her neck. “I didn’t know her up until recently when I saw how pale she looked and asked if she was sick. As for how we got here, she couldn’t walk on her own so I called a cab. Is there anything else you need to know?” she asked, fidgeting a bit.

“Oh,” the nurse said, seemingly surprised. “So you don’t know each other? It was nice of you to help a stranger then.” The nurse bit her lip and looked through the paperwork. It seemed that Sasha wasn’t going to be able to help her with much of it.

“Do you at least know if she’s got someone she can call? Someone who can come for her, and might be able to give more information?” the nurse asked. She was searching now, hoping to be able to find any information that she could, or any possible routes for information.

Sasha stared off into space for a moment, deep in thought. She quickly snapped back to her senses. “Huh? O-oh! Y-yeah! I remember that she made a call earlier back at my place. I don’t think she ever mentioned a name, but someone was coming to pick her up. Is there anything else you need to know?” she asked, racking her mind for anything useful she could remember.

They were supposed to meet for lunch today. They had arranged it, talked about it, and both had been looking forward to it–or so Riza had thought. But Sasha hadn’t shown up, which was odd. But it was always possible to run late, and so Riza hadn’t though too much about it. But when at least half of the lunch break had passed and there had been no sign of the woman, Riza had grown worried. Gathering herself and her things, she had made her way to the apartment Sasha shared.

She got there, and knocked on the door, calling in. “Sasha? Sasha are you there? Its Riza.” Her hand went down to the doorknob and tried it. The door was open. She turned the knob and pushed the door open. “Sasha?” she called as she came in. “Sasha? Are you home?” The house looked a little unkept, and there was an odd bottle sitting on the coffee table, but she didn’t see her friend at first glance. “Sasha?”

“Oh, we were?” she asked. She suddenly remembered the plans they made a few days earlier. “Oh, so that was the important thing I was supposed to do… Oh well.” Sasha looked at her. “I guess it’s too late now. I’m gonna go back to my nap now, I was having a nice dream…” she said sleepily, dozing off.

Riza’s brow furrowed. This was not like her friend. The soldier moved closer to her, and sat down on the edge of the bed. “Sasha. Sasha. Are you feeling alright?” she reached out and felt her friend’s forehead. No, it wasn’t warm. And she didn’t seem sick. Did she overindulge in something? There was that strange bottle out in the living room. “Sasha, did you eat or drink anything new?”

“Yup. Connie brought home some new, exotic brand of alcohol and I was feeling good last night so I said to myself ‘Alright, guess I’ll try it’. Why?” the brunette asked, not wanting to remember any more. It was too tiring, and she didn’t have the energy to think about that. The only thing she wanted to know was when Riza would leave so she could go back to bed.

“I see,” Riza said carefully. Her friend was still acting odd, and Riza didn’t like it. “Sasha, how did you feel after trying the alcohol? Did Connie know that you were going to be getting into it?”

If the alcohol was the only new thing that Sasha had drank, then perhaps it was the reason behind Sasha’s odd behavior. Her friend was usually pretty friendly and glad to see her, instead of just laying around like this. Something was off. Riza could feel it in her gut.

“I felt fine for a bit, then I wanted to have a nap. So I did. As for Connie, probably not. He’s kinda oblivious. Don’t tell him I said that, though.” Sasha said, sinking into her mattress. She wasn’t quite sure what Riza was planning, but whatever it was, she knew that she wasn’t gonna let herself get out of bed.
