This book is definitely worth my(or anyone elses) time. I’m so glad I bought it! It’s a book about the huldufolk or hidden folk. Full of old folklore and information about races of the hidden people.

It doesn’t matter where you live; at a certain age that feral need for exploration is still alive with the supernatural: dark Pucks of the railway huts; the witch of a shadowy pine wood; thin, twig-limbed, squirrel-mouthed creatures that tiptoe at the tree-line on the edge of an old quarry; uncanny characters, somewhere between animals and angels. I remember being eight years old and digging with two other school friends every lunchtime for treasure that we decided gnomes had buried under the huge green dome of a yew tree.
