Things to always remember
- if they hate you because of how you look like; they first hated Jesus cause He didn’t look like what they expected
- if they think you are incapable. Remember who’s you are. A child of the King who gave strength and might for Moses to split the sea, David to kill Goliath with a stone, Shadrach and his friends from surviving being burned alive, Joseph who was sold as a slave by his brothers to help rule the whole of Egypt
- they may try to silence you in claiming certain type of sin is not sin. By shoving it down your throat or making sin mainstream. Remember that type of sin put Christ on the cross as all sin do. And Christ cannot and will not start giving pass for sin
- singleness can suck. But rushing and getting in a relationship that isn’t of the Lord sucks way more. In every way.
- love others like how Christ loves you. We aren’t doing it for ourselves, or for the world, we are doing it to honor Christ. Plus He promised a big mansion and lots of rewards in heaven in your name if you do as He says and live for him
- riches, rewards, and mansions in heaven in your name > earthly riches, rewards, mansions that isn’t promised, will devalue and become old
- when life just gets you beaten and you feel like giving up on being Christ-like today, push through and do it for the reward. It’s an incentive God has given us. On top of many good good things. Cause He knows life is extremely hard
Look in the Bible, there is literally nowhere that God has failed those who trust in Him
why do you think He’s going to start now by failing you?
Jesus heals brokenness. He also calls people to become counselors & therapists to help heal your brokenness. Pursuing human counseling isn’t saying you don’t trust Jesus is all too powerful to heal you himself. Jesus uses people too. Don’t be ashamed to seek this kind of help
strip off their looks. do they follow Jesus?
Just because they’re not asking for your number or they flocking to give you their attention, doesn’t mean there’s anything wrong with you, or you’re not beautiful or handsome enough. Sometimes they are intimidated to approach such beauty. Sometimes Christ prevents anything to happen that your heart may be guarded. And never does it ever mean you’re not good enough, pretty or handsome enough, or not worth it

Pray that God reveals their character, intentions, and motives that you may rest from the relentless wondering who they really are
When you’re talking talking to someone or even evaluating someone you just met (via godlydatingandfeelings)
When you agree on wanting to be in a relationship with me, you’re agreeing to: the Father, Son, Spirit, and me. It’s all or nothing.

She’s the kind of girl that is understood if you too know Christ, He’s the type of boy who’s manliness is described as that from above

Singles out there, don’t be willing to gamble your whole life on someone who is “not quite sure” about you. You deserve something extraordinary and God-ordered.
(via godlydatingandfeelings)
Don’t date someone that you can’t see Christ being glorified within the relationship
A principal to live by (via godlydatingandfeelings)
She’s cute and all, but does she love Jesus? And if she says she does, does she bear fruit that proves that? Does she have the desire to forsake everything for Christ? Is Christ her all in all? What does it meant to her to lose her material possessions, family, friends, spouse, and/or children for the sake of Christ? Does she repent? Is she absorbed with her appearance? Does she understand the vanity of worldly things, and if so, does her life reflect that? Is she kind? Is she sensitive to others or is she consumed with herself? Is Scripture her authority over her feelings? Does she understand the purpose of money and able to handle it wisely with an eternal perspective? Is she passive in life or is she intentional with every move she makes, thinking towards what impact it would make for the Kingdom? Does she trust not in her own strength, but gives 110%, while resting in God’s sovereignty trusting He works everything out for good, though at times it may not seem that way? Does she understand the importance of missions, while being active in evangelism within her immediate community or social circle? Is she consumed with the ideal of worldly living or does she count it all as rubbish for a life of being unknown and forgotten by the world to pursue faithfulness to Christ? Does she continually evaluate her affections or does she go where the wind blows her? Does she disciple others and invest into girls and women younger than her while seeking to be under the wing of someone older than her in faith? How does she handle disagreement? Does she truly consider the other side, both objectively and subjectively, or is she dogmatic in her stance? Does she cry out to the Lord in her weakness? Does she allow herself to be carried in the arms of the Living God? What is the desire of her heart? Who is the desire of her soul?
