Long overdue post 🚨 I’m Back in the 📍239, not sure for how long but I’m here!! Why? Over the past few months my health hasn’t been great I mean there were days I couldn’t walk, I couldn’t dress myself, nor let alone get out of bed! (SN: S/O to the best roommate ever @keera_doee, I appreciate you so much, THANK YOU! 💙) Long story short on June 9th, 2021 I was diagnosed with (SLE) Systemic Lupus Erythematosus and (RA) Rheumatoid Arthritis. Most of y’all already know my sister @monicatobeautiful was diagnosed with the same disorders in 2016. 🦋🦋🦋💜💜💜💜 How am I doing? Some days are better than others. Since finally being on medication that suppress the pain, I’ve been okay. Thank you to supportive family and friends. Please do not get offended if you are just now finding out. I’m still trying to settle in. Understand that I needed time! Everything happened so fast, in a nutshell all in one month: I got diagnosed, lost my job in Lakeland, then got a job offer in Marco Island and I moved back to Naples the following week! 🤷🏾‍♀️ It was all on Gods timing so I can’t complain. Recap of our family trip to Haiti 2019!! Growing up we always heard the infamous Haitian line “mwen pa gen lajan” (I don’t have money!) Welp 17 YEARS later and my sisters and I are grateful to finally know why our cheap loving father, failed to provide in some areas of our lives. He was investing, for us! 🙌🏾 From the age of 5, the 1st time I visited Haiti, to the age of 22, I am truly grateful and blessed to have a Father who has been investing for our future! I thought I was going to Haiti to see ONE finished house (which I thought was just my fathers retirement home, but it was much more than just that), but when I got there, I was informed that there was 3 different houses, + many more unexpected investments 😮😱🤗. It wasn’t ironic that while we were in Haiti, the bank 🏦 needed my father to updated his beneficiaries 👈🏾 that was a God plan, timing and all 💃🏾!! I never understood why my father fought for custody to raise 4 girls 🤷🏾‍♀️ But I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again “I love my father and I am truly grateful for my father, he doesn’t get enough credit for raising 4 girls alone!” 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Fr Morange Octave is the Real MVP! 🙌🏾💪🏾🏆 Happy Fathers Day!! I grew up in a broken-home (Divorced Household) But A Christ Centered broken-home! Whether we were with my mother or with my father we always served at a church ⛪️ I always say the Greatest Gift parents could ever give their children is introducing them to Jesus, I say this because if you look at my life you would think I always had it easy, but if you grew up in a divorce household you would understand the struggle! If it wasn’t for the hand of God upon my life, I couldn’t have accomplish all that I have and I wouldn’t be the Woman of God that I am today.
