Tell me what happens when what doesn’t kill you doesn't make you stronger at all
When you’ve survived, but you’ve died inside, and you feel like there’s no way you can go on?
When you’re exposed
Out in the open
And there’s nothing for you to hide behind
Do you pick yourself up and move things along?
Or sit there and sing the same sorry song?
I’ve tried both
A toil ensues to this day
But I can say that pretending everything is okay is hard in so many ways
Leaving me nothing short of prostrate
That’s not to say crying floods of tears doesn't leave me feeling drained
Even more, once I’ve done that
What has really changed?
What do you do?
Where do you go?
When you feel like it’s the end of the road
Who do you turn to?
Do you turn to them at all?
Or do you pick yourself back up every time you fall?
What do you do when the worst happens to you?
Lost people I loved
In more ways than one
There are times when we’ll all get knocked down
But its about what we do when we hit the ground
In a room full of darkness
Seeing even a glimmer of light
Is a sign, or maybe just the hope, that you’ll someday be alright
Sometimes keeping the faith is harder than losing it
And letting fate be is harder than choosing it
But even when you’ve had enough
And things are going wrong
Don’t give up
It’s up to you how it’s sung
They’re all rooting for you- your journey’s just begun
Each component selected, crafted by you
Now’s the time to take each one and show what you can do

You’re in control so now’s the time to create and show your world
