ptsd is more than a plot point, it’s a very real and scary mental illness & doesn’t go away after two long solo paras and another character telling yours that everything’s going to be okay

this said, ptsd doesn’t make every character a hell-bent bitter son of a gun who wants everyone to pay for their morally damning deeds

there are more triggers than rape, incest, murder, and self harm. actually read the trigger pages for the groups you’re in. 

on that note, admins need to allow applicants to submit triggers to be added to the trigger page.

if you use any disability in order to guilt people into writing with your character, or if you use your disability to try and make your mary sue suddenly balanced, or if you use a disability as an accessory to a character rather than a legitimate part of their identity then please do some research.

Fun fact: Rooke doesn’t get visitors much, but occasionally, Deacon will stop by to visit him. Which is odd, considering they seem to be like the two who would get along together the least. In all reality, they’re total opposites, and because of this, they mash well. Rooke offers Deacon some peace, and Deacon offers Rooke some encouragement.
