kori was usually the type to seem as though she thought she was above others --- as though everything she did was superior to everyone else. behind most closed doors, she didn’t let this facade fade. one of pure cockyness. behind blue’s closed doors ? “ i bet. ” and there wasn’t even a hint of sarcasm lacing her words. “ i mean, dealers are way less protected than other workers considering legality... if someone robbed you of all of your product, you couldn’t even call the police. it’s kind’ve ridiculous considering marijuana can be medicinal. ” and even if she sounded like the laywer she was right now, she believed dealers had it just as rough as other workers. hands busy with tying her shoelace into a knot, as it previously had came united while they were strollin’ together to a destination unknown, it wasn’t as if she had ANY other option but to listen to inho ramble. it wasn’t as if she didn’t enjoy the mini lectures of knowledge that were given to her at random times of the day — - sometimes when she wasn’t even with him. because according to andi, every time he did open his mouth, she managed to learn something entirely new. yet, as she finished the double knot in her shoelace, it wasn’t LONG before she returned to full height & kept her gaze trained on the male. a knowin’ smile found it’s way to her brims, as a hand came up to pat him on his cheek softly. ‘ matter of factly, i did know all of that, much to my own surprise. i read a book at a cafe once that was filled with facts about coffee, & then proceeded to look up facts about caffeine & coffee itself. it’s also why commercials about coffee aren’t played at those times of the day ! ’ andi beamed proudly. 

a lot of inho’s friends were the type of kids that would bully him if this were some coming of age movie --- but it wasn’t. despite inho not being a party boy like jack or into sports like andi, he still found great solace in his friendship with them both. perhaps it was really because they all happened to live in the same apartment building and be of the same age, in the same town that wasn’t quite as big as you’d have thought, but inho was a positive guy and figured he’d find himself friends with either of them anywhere. at andi’s revelation, instead of appearing shocked, inho’s smile just grew. “ and you say I’M full of outlandish knowledge ! ” he jests, as though he hadn’t brought the topic up. “ i’m glad you’re coffee educated. i don’t have to worry about you drinking coffee when you shouldn’t be. you’re my healthiest friend, that’s for sure. ” and his statement made it sound as though andi wasn’t pursuing boxing ( read: being beat up ) for a living. then again, inho was confident andi was safe in the ring because she was STRONG, but she was no match for the sugary sweetness of a coffee in the morning. that was basic science.

if there was a way yuji could ATTEMPT to count on her hands of how many times she had reported to the landlord of things that could be fixed with the building, she would indefinitely need more hands. it wasn’t as if he ever listened to her though, seemingly taking care of three different buildings along with a pool was difficult. as she dug inside her purse for the building’s key, had yet spotted another problem ( the mailman had done a POOR job of delivering mail correctly ) she was frustrated. ‘ how hard is it to slide mail into the slot one piece at a time, now nobody can fuckin’ get their mail ! ’ yuji grunted.

as far as caring for things that needed fixing, jiyoung was on the opposite end of spectrum. she was --- laid back, in that sense at least. she didn’t much mind the creaky floors or the occasional issue with her pipes. in fact, she’d never ONCE made a single note to herself about how the mail man jammed their envelops into their slots. however, when she heard the other aggressively complaining about it, she did see how it could present a problem. brows raised in the slightest as she turned to the other, she seemed all to relaxed about the issue ------ “ i usually just get it with the door open. push and pull at the same time, minimal ripping. ”

“ look kid, ” kori cut in, “ i could not care less who wins that stupid award. whether it be your favorite group, or the kid behind the counters ----- it doesn’t matter. you do know if they win, you don’t get anything, right ? ” and perhaps she was being too harsh, she certainly was, but she didn’t have time for this as she stood behind the girl having a fight over the coffee counter with the clerk. “ now some of us actually have grown up stuff to do, that isn’t --- you know, standing around and talking about singing groups. ” manicured nails rested on her arm crossed with her other acrossed her chest. she was moments from tapping her shoe on the ground like some old-school business woman. of course, one look at kori showed she was anything but.
