Growing a crystal that glows in the dark using magnesium sulphate with hot water and mixing it up with alum crystals afterwords in order to have this glowing effect.

Crystal Hunt- physical simulation of people trying to search for crystals, which are hidden in barely reachable places in the courtyard (e.g., in the soil in the garden) or the building of our accommodation (e.g in fridges, plant pods ), so they can experience the hardships and struggles of the miners, forced to work in dangerous conditions rather than just ordering the crystals from big corporations like Amazon etc.

Most of the volunteers spended between 1 and 2 hours searching for the crystals without finding anything. They found the experience quite exhausting and frustrating. Even the ones that managed to find a crystal thought it was to some extent rewarding, but mostly a waste of time. However, all of them sympathized with the workers in the mines, who do much harder physical work on a daily basis for long hours. The aim of the project was to raise awareness about this subject matter and to spread this information to as many people as possible, so we coan become more reasonable consumers. I strongly believe it achived that.

The coronavirus has forced many of us to start working and doing many of our daily tasks online. The circumstances leave many complications but also opportunities, for instance, how can we still connect to the healing vibrations of crystals? The idea for these examples came from a guided meditation by The Peaceful Soul Nottingham where she states that "in energy healing terms, time and space are irrelevant...just the imagination of having something will help you to focus and pick up on the healing vibrations." (Guided crystal Meditation for healing) The following objects create different ways of visualizing the traditionally earthly lifestyle of crystal healing through 3D modeling. To help us identify where our chakras are. A Spark AR mapping of the third eye chakra was created onto its temple location. The other model is of a simple crystal cluster so that one can potentially 'ping' their energy onto the said imaginative crystal to focus their healing energy. Many meditaion sessions have moved onto the online realm, so these digital objects are a tool to be used for those who are trying to reach a potentially global audiance through the internet.

My meditation recorded. A lot different from my first one where I felt frustrated and unable to commit to the meditation. I now can’t wait to do one each day. This is the longest I have ever done it for I WILL REACH ENLIGHTENMENT

Making crystals

Used salt, boiling water, string and pencil. Did this a couple of weeks ago and expected the crystal to form on the string but it never did. Each day more crystals appear along the top of the jar and on the penicl.
