Has the Mirage Tour concert ever been released on DVD? Would love to own it but don't have a VHS player. I'm in the UK. Thanks
The show at the Forum in LA used to be available on DVD, but it wasn't an official release from Warner and the quality was more or less the same as what you can find on youtube.

Hi! That's a good question. I know Stevie has some different versions of her music videos, scrapped versions, alternate edits, videos that only aired in Australia, etc. Fleetwood Mac didn't really do that, I know Everywhere has 2 slightly different music videos, but I've never heard of a different version of Gypsy. Maybe one of my followers knows more?
Appreciate this is a major throwback and may not be something you remember, but when Richard Dashut was on Tumblr around 2014 he ran a competition to write a short piece on 'Why Fleetwood Mac?' in order to be sent a signed and numbered 'Punter Pass'. I sent my submission and got an email back saying I'd be sent a pass and provided my address. Said pass never arrived and I didn't hear anything beyond that. I was gutted at the time and in some ways still am (at the time I was a teenager really excited to receive it from a legendary producer/engineer). I just wondered if you or anyone else on here remembers that and if anyone actually got one. I'd love to see a pic!
I do very vaguely remember that. It sucks that you didn't receive your price but I wonder if anyone else ever did, I've never seen it and I haven't heard about anyone having this. It seems that Richard Dashut had a lot of great ideas of sharing his FM history with us but apparently his poor health got in the way at that time.

Do we know when the Goodbye Baby demo, The Tower, was written and what it's about? If it was written before the Don Henley abortion then could it suggest she had another earlier abortion? I know the Destiny Rules doc recording is an emotional moment between S&L. Thanks.
The earliest demo dates from August 1976. There's lots of speculation about this song. I personally don't believe it is about an abortion because that would be to literal, she wasn't being that literal with her lyrics at that time, she was very poetic and weaving several different inspirations together into a song. This was not long after she broke up with Lindsey and right around the time she started dating Don Henley. The song could be about the break up, saying goodbye to that relationship. Another theory is that this song is about Rhiannon because in the "Mabinognion" Rhiannon's newborn son is taken from her.
