Tobio sighed shakily as he nodded his head. The words made him feel rather aroused and eager to be with the other boy. 

Once inside, he growled softly before placing his hands on Kei’s naked hips and wrapping his lips around a soft nipple.

Kei moaned softly, gripping Tobio’s shoulders. “Tobio~” He moaned his lover’s name. He moved his hands down and slipped them under his shirt. He slid his fingers over the soft skin, waiting for permission to removed the shirt.

“It’s not, you’re not..” He shook his head, loosening his grip on Tsukishima but keeping his arms wrapped around him. “You should have just told me.. Why would you do this to yourself?” Even when he got his answer, he couldn’t stop asking why. 

  It was selfish, but a small part of him felt bitter about not knowing until now. And not being told at all on top of having to find out in one of the most frightening ways.

“I wont.” After finding out, there was no way he could let him deal with this by himself. “Whenever you need someone, whenever you feel like doing this.. Call me…Text me. Even after… = Whenever you need me I’ll be there.”  Otherwise, Yamaguchi might end up texting him once an hour out of worry.

For the first time in what might have years, a genuine smile graced Tsukishima’s lips. “Thank you. I-I will.” He felt around for his glasses. “I guess I should go home...”

Suga shrugged, not even turning to look at him.

“Oh, yes, I do have some plans, but I don’t know if you’re quite ready for them yet.”

He scribbled some notes from his textbook in a strained attempt to understand this concept that they were being quizzed on before the quiz was administered. He waited until after potions was done before he packed up quickly and gave Tshukishima a message as he breezed by.

“Get to the gargoyle on the right of the dining hall entrance at about 4, would you, Tsukki?”

He bumped his shoulder with his hip on the way out.

Tsukishima sat in shock. What was going to happen there? He had to go, he was not to be called weak for not showing up for a meeting.

When the time came, Tsukishima was there waiting. He had changed into more casual clothes. He looked around skeptically. “I wonder what’s going to happen...” He sighed.

“I’m sorry..” Yamaguchi wasn’t sure what he was apologizing for, but it felt natural. Was he sorry for finding out or questioning Tsukishima? Certainly not. He was glad to have found out, this was a huge burden for one to handle, even two. But he would never tell another soul. 

Yamaguchi tightened his arms around Tsukishima, despite the immense pain he was witnessing he was alleviated to see Tsukishima opening himself - even if only a little bit more - to him. “Why didn’t you tell me?” His voice was no louder than a whisper because he didn’t have the voice to ask it out loud.

Every question asked just dug into Tsukishima’s heart. Digging up pain he wanted to forget, wanted to get rid of. Part of him knew the only way to do that was to face it. Still, he was ashamed. Not only had he gotten to a point of not functioning, but he was on the floor, crying like a child.

“How could I? It’s pathetic, being so weak. So afraid.” His hands weakly gripped Yamaguchi’s arms. 

Once he had finally calmed down, the blonde took a deep breath. He didn’t yet lift his head. “Please...” He spoke quietly. “Don’t let me fight alone...” He quietly begged for support.

Tobio still couldn’t get used to hearing those embarrassing yet reassuring words.

Kei loved him.

Kei was his.

He simply bit his mate’s scent gland before placing both hands on the Omega’s ass cheeks and bringing him closer to his body, making their crotches grind against each other’s.

The kiss - however brief - took Suga very much by surprise. He jolted back, stunned, while the other strode out of the classroom. And… ‘more where that came from?’ Suga groaned and put his fingers to his temples. This would be a whole new adventure. Still….

“Nice try,” he muttered to himself. If that was the way Tsukishima wanted to play, Suga would have no trouble outdoing him again.

Tsukishima was on edge for the next few days, awaiting Suga’s retaliation. His wand never left his hand as he walked the halls, earning him some scoldings from the professors.

He walked into potions class, looking around cautiously. “Another day with nothing for me, Sugawara?” He decided to tease, hiding his fear of the retaliation well.

Suga scowled at him for a brief moment. He slammed his hand down on top of the textbook - almost hard enough to sting - and leaned in nice and close with a smile that oozed sarcasm.

“I’m glad you find it to be so endearing.” He tilted his head to one side and batted his eyes in a mockingly appreciative manner. “I would find it so adorable if you would exercise more ability and care. After all,” he pouted, “don’t I mean anything to you? I wish you would just try… for me….”

“I guess I’m just so bad at showing my true feelings.” He mocked in the same manner. “I’ll try harder next time for you, Sugar.” He placed a quick kiss to Sugawara’s lips, quickly sliding back out of reach. “And don’t worry, there’s more where that came from.” He winked before walking out.

     Opening his eyes, he glanced at Tsukishima. “At least you won’t irritate me till I get up. Then again, Bokuto I can just glare at to get him to stop.” Shrugging, Akaashi slid off the bed to sit on the floor. Looking up at Tsukishima, he held his arms out. “You should help me up.” He’s really lazy when he’s just woken up.

Tsukishima couldn’t help but laugh at the setter on the floor. It was cute, he would admit, to see the composed and serious Akaashi acting a little childish. He walked over and leaned down. He wrapped his arms around Akaashi’s chest and hoisted the older boy up onto his feet. “If you were a little smaller I’d throw you over my shoulder.”

“4 years?!” Yamaguchi tried not to sound so surprised, but he couldn’t help it. Every new thing he found it hit him like a train would. How was it kept a secret for so long? The placement of the cuts showed that he made sure no one would find out, but still…  “Doesn’t anyone else know?” 

He couldn’t just tell him to stop and expect it to happen, he couldn’t cry and shout and demand that this ceases. It wouldn’t do anything, he couldn’t do anything to stop it. He’d just try to give Tsukishima whatever was lacking in support and try to keep it together when the other couldn’t. 

“Talk to me.”  He walked on his knees to get closer to Tsukishima, gently wrapping his arms around his shoulders. “Don’t hide anymore.”

“No, no one knows.” At the gentle touch, Tsukishima broke down. Tears flowed freely as he choked back sobs. He pressed his face into Yamaguchi’s shoulder, his glasses falling off as he did. “I-I wanted to hide everything. No one was ever supposed to know.”

He didn’t want to face the pain that came with admitting to his actions. Nor did he want to face the emptiness within himself. He didn’t want to be abandoned because he was suffering.

Yamaguchi was fine with the silence. It gave him enough time to finish cleaning the surface of the wounds and bind them tight enough in case they bled again. He was no nurse, so when he took a step back and saw that he did it correctly he was very glad. 

It did sound strange, but it made some sense, too. Somehow, hearing something like that as the reason was a relief. But now, it was time for more questions. After getting the first one over with the others seemed to flow much easier, but then still very challenging. “When did you start doing this?”

Judging by the scarring, Yamaguchi could tell it didn’t start just recently. How did he never notice before? “Doesn’t it scare you? It’s dangerous..”  What if one day the bleeding just didn’t stop? What if something vital was cut? It sent shivers down his spine just thinking of it.

“It been almost 4 years...” Tsukishima shook his head. He hated himself for letting everything out like this. He was pathetic and he knew it.

“I know how dangerous it is. I know I shouldn’t do it. I know it’s not going to change anything. I know.” The words started to catch in his throat. tears welled in his eyes and he turned his head away. 

“I’m not scared, though. I don’t care if it kills me, honestly.” He tried so hard not to cry.

     Grumbling slightly, he slightly opened his eyes. “Noo… I’m still asleep.” He really hated getting up. Though, he’s sitting up with his eyes still shut. “At least…” Yawning and rubbing at his eyes, he continued. “I wish I was still asleep.”

“Well you know I’m not the one that’s going to be irritating you until you get up.” Tsukishima chuckled. “If you don’t get up, I will get Bokuto in here.” He threatened, though it was more of a joke.

… Alright. After four or five days of the same, the floating books trick did become a little bit… tedious. Still, kt was predictable enough by then that he could expect it and surmount the obstacle with minimal to no effort at all. It was at the two week mark that he was just itching to end this. After their potions class, Suga snatched his textbook out of the air above him and slammed it on the table where Tsukishima sat.

“Would you mind doing something that doesn’t make you so much of an irritant and maybe something more of a damn wizard for once?” he hissed.

Tsukishma laughed loudly at the response. “Wow, you really can get angry. I was wondering how long it would take.” He rested his chin in his hand, a grin on his face. “You should get worked up more often, it’s almost cute.” He winked.

His eyebrows raised slightly and he gave a simple shrug, “Oh I understand just fine but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t give me a chance.”

     “That sounds terrible.” He couldn’t help a soft laugh as he settled into the bed furthest from the door. Hearing Tsukishima, a small smile spread across his face. “You too.” Closing his eyes, sleep washed over him rather quickly.

Tsukishima blinked awake, putting on his glasses to clear his vision. He yawned and looked over at Akaashi. “It’s morning” He spoke as he sat up. “You awake?”
