I still struggle to understand how "women are always rewarded into being masculine" got popular to justify that transmascs are not oppressed for being men. Because like? Around 2010-2018 a very common stereotype was of the manly hairy short haired feminist. To this day people still shit on women who are "too masculine" (aka black and brown women). Like there's a reason women had to fight to be able to wear pants and a woman wearing pants was considered enough to sent her to prison. Like I remember being a teen and seeing either on internet or IRL endless lists of things that would make women too masculine (and that's a bad thing) and like. Piercings. Tattoos. T-shirts. Not wearing make-up. Being atheist. Going to college. Thinking too much. Doing too much weight lifting. They are made fun of. They're raped. They're killed. They're abused. They're kicked out of home when they deny to be what society tells her to be.

Like when you tell me "society always rewards masculinity in women, therefore trans men are rewarded" you're telling me you doesn't have a grasp on how society works in which it assigns you a sex upon birth and want you to stay that gender forever and that what makes a woman feminine or masculine is both cultural and arbitrary. You also show yourself as someone who never thought about it outside your culture and/or social circle. Yes, USAmerican, the women in your culture are able to wear pants and explore their genders (allegedly) and sexuality. But in more conservative areas a women will have her first kid at 15 and be a housewife for the rest of her life married to a guy 20 years older than her, never existing outside a birthing machine, mother and wife. Always beinh punished for having interests outside of it.

That woman in a third world country that tried to cut her hair short got killed off for trying to be too masculine.

That girl in a small conservative town that kissed her girl friend on 9th grade got beaten up and sent to conversion therapy and will come back repressed and will never discover she would like to be a man.

That girl being raised Christian will be a mysogynist to every woman in her life and think all men are dangerous rapists and that her life purpose is to be a mother and a wife and will never get the chance to discover she would like to cut her hair short, dye it, wear masculine clothes and kiss other women.

Your belief that women are always encouraged and rewarded on being masculine and that's why transmascs are not in danger for being man truly shows how you never thought about anyone else that isn't like you. You cannot both claim to be an intersectional feminist and not understand that society only rewards masculinity or femininity on people they believe have the corresponding genitals for it.

Im so glad that the UTAU fandom agree that us sans should have gloves cuz he looks so naked without them lol.
