If you are using the machine for the first time always wear some safety gear so that you do not harm yourself.
Cleaning the mini mill:
Never use water on any part of the machine. No water is allowed on the machine. You can use water and cleaning soap liquid if you are desperate to turn your machine into something useless and hazardous at the same time. You can also use the paint thinner to clean the surface but at first check the manual if the machine supports paint thinner or not. You can also use the lubrication process as the method is acceptable and useful for any type of machines. You can either use the motor oil or lithium grease.
