being woken up to your dog growling was never a fun way to wake up. especially not if you were in hesh’s position. convinced every night that the man who killed your father would soon be coming for you. ‘ what is it, boy ? ‘ riley didn’t move from his position in front of the door, his growling only got more vicious. hesh rolled out of bed, pulling the shoe box out from underneath his bed that always contained a loaded gun in it. he held the weapon up towards the door and began getting closer step by step. once the door opened and the familiar face came out from behind the door he sighed loudly in frustration, crouching down next to his dog and patting his head. ‘ it’s okay riley, good boy. ‘ the dog then made it’s way onto hesh’s bed, lying in the spot hesh was just in. ‘ what the hell are you doing ? you can’t just show up at my house at random house of the night, i could’ve killed you. he could’ve killed you, ‘ he gestures to the dog who now looks like he couldn’t hurt a fly compared to how he was 5 second ago.

he knocks on the closed wooden door a few times before entering the room with a small smile on his face, shaking his head lightly as he sits in his rolly chair. this is the second time he’s seen this same patient for the same reason just this month. using his feet to roll the stool closer to the patient he looks up at her as he rests his clipboard in his lap. ‘ i get it. people can be annoying as hell sometimes, but you cant keep punching them. cause if you keep doing that this is gonna keep happening. aren’t you sick of seeing me yet ? ‘ he teases before relaxing back into his seat a bit. ‘ full story, what happened this time ? ‘
seeing the person be an asshole to the other much more vulnerable looking female was enough to encourage her to interfere. she makes her way over to the duo, grabbing the instigator by their shirt with her right hand as she sneaks her right leg behind both of their legs, swooping their legs out from underneath them and pushing them down on the ground with her hand before crouching down on one knee. ‘ get up and leave. if you say one word to her ever again you’ll be very sorry. ‘ she threatens before grabbing the person by their shirt and tossing them in the direction of the door. she knew her training would pay off for something. she turns back to face the innocent one, smiling just slightly. ‘ you alright ? ‘
