🛠️ Plaza Closed: Residential Services Under Construction
Today marks a major turning point for Flamenco, as the Residential Services Building enters full construction. The familiar plaza has been temporarily roped off and the hum of tools now fills the morning air.
With Tom Nook occupied in meetings with architects and designers, and Queen Flora celebrating her weekly Spa Sunday, island life slowed to a peaceful stillness.
“This is the beginning of something big,” the Prime Minister remarked from the soft grass beside the construction fence. “Something fabulous.”
🏠 Expansion of The Pink House
In a surprise development, The Pink House — the official residence of Prime Minister Connor — received a major expansion this morning. After paying off ₳98,000 in island debts, the Prime Minister awoke to find the home enlarged and even more... pink.
“I’ve never seen so much space for expensive furniture,” Connor said. “It’s bold… and glamorous.”
Tom Nook has declined comment but was seen nodding approvingly while sipping coffee and reviewing blueprints.
💝 Rhonda’s Gift Brings the PM to Tears
Early this morning, Rhonda presented the Prime Minister with a rare antique hairbrush she found while unpacking. The gift, presented without ceremony, triggered an emotional moment on the beach.
“It’s just so beautiful!” the Prime Minister wailed, clutching the brush to his chest. Rhonda embraced him gently and whispered, “I know, I know, Bigfoot.”
No further explanation was given.
🌱 Daisy Mae Visits Flamenco: Turnip Economy Debuts
Flamenco received its first official visit from Daisy Mae, a charming vendor of fresh Sunday turnips and heir to a powerful family-run produce dynasty.
The Prime Minister met her near the riverside and inquired about the turnip trade, while Queen Flora has reportedly contacted the Treasury about potential agricultural development initiatives.
“This could be a major turning point for island economics,” said the Queen, “or at least breakfast.”
🐸 Jeremiah Gets His Shirt
In a quiet moment this afternoon, Prime Minister Connor paid a visit to Jeremiah, the island’s contemplative blue frog, and gifted him a crisp Nook Inc. shirt.
The two reportedly shared a peaceful chat, lounging in silence while staring out toward the sea.
“There’s something about that frog,” Connor later said. “He gets it.”
That’s all for today’s edition of Good Morning, Flamenco! 🌸
We wish you a restful evening and a plaza full of promise.
