I hate those slicked back buns with the middle part, they should be a crime.
Men should learn from birds. I'm looking at a little wood pigeon on the roof cooing and bowing and turning in circles for another pigeon. He looks so handsome and smart. He's putting in so much effort for his little dance. She didn't like it though and flew off, and you know what, he didn't follow her or harass her! He will simply find another pigeon to be handsome and smart for. Why can't men learn from the excellent examples set by the little pigeons. Oh, and pigeon males pull their weight when it comes to caring for the squabs. They even produce crop milk too.
I think we should start hunting the little moids who are murdering wildlife with catapults. See how they like it when someone bigger and better armed is trying to maim them for kicks.
Grrrr the nursery hasn't thinned their plants properly. Not only were the tray cells like 1cm in width, there were TWO seedlings in each one. No wonder the poor plants are so unhappy with such tangled, cramped roots. This is why your purchased plants die people. Multiple plants shoved into cramped conditions to look more impressive because it's cheaper than growing larger plants that take longer and use more space.
Growing things this summer has made me more appreciative of spiders. Thank you fierce little spiders for protecting my tomato plants from the evil aphids.
I don't want to hear about how men are "better drivers" than women ever again because some study said they did better on a parking exercise. It's ALWAYS men who do the stupid and rude stuff on the roads like changing lanes without indicating, overtaking dangerously, speeding. Some silly bastard honked at me for obeying a temporary speed limit earlier that he's decided didn't apply to him (and it really is one you should obey because the traffic gets very congested there). Another muppet moid in a VW earlier overtook me in motorway congestion and then was sat in the blind spot of a HGV for 10 miles (hm almost like there was a reason why I wasn't pulling into that space!)
I've said it once, I'll say it again. The most important thing in driving isn't spacial awareness, it's MANNERS. Men are worse drivers because they're often inconsiderate, arrogant assholes. And then they think they're such skilled drivers if they do these assholish things and manage not to get into an accident. YOU aren't a good driver, other people are good drivers who have reacted well to your idiocy and managed to prevent an incident. One of these days you're going to pull this shit near a driver who doesn't respond in time or is as silly as you, and then there will be deadly consequences. Which is why men's car insurance costs more :)

Yeah that will do it.

alright I've got to do some quick math to explain attitudes towards AI to my boss.
we're looking to create an AI policy, and when we were talking about this, my boss (older millennial) was genuinely shocked to hear that younger people do not (seem) to view AI positively (a la the recent commencement speakers being booed)
please rb for larger sample size!
Question 1/3
What is your age, and do you feel AI is a net positive or net negative in our lives today?
under 18, AI is a net positive
under 18, AI is a net negative
18-29, AI is a net positive
18-29, AI is a net negative
30-45, AI is a net positive
30-45, AI is a net negative
46-60, AI is a net positive
46-60, AI is a net negative
over 60, AI is a net postive
over 60, AI is a net negative
Question 2/3
How often do you visit or interact with museums/archives (whether in person or online)?
Frequently (multiple times per month)
Often (multiple times per year)
Occasionally (a couple times per year)
Rarely (once every couple of years)
Never :(
Question 3/3
If you saw a museum was using AI in exhibits, marketing, research, etc., would you be more or less inclined to visit that museum?
under 18, more inclined
under 18, less inclined
18-29, more inclined
18-29, less inclined
30-45, more inclined
30-45, less inclined
46-60, more inclined
46-60, less inclined
over 60, more inclined
over 60, less inclined
Thank you for helping with this data collection. Please rb for as big a sample as possible!

I'm 25 but still a relatively new driver, I was able to get car insurance for under £1k for a year which I didn't think was too bad. Is it really that awful for people younger than me? Someone said that some people have to pay more than rent for car insurance because it's so expensive for young people, that seems like an exaggeration but maybe it's a lot worse for under 25s.
I feel like I need to share this because idk if Europeans are familiar with the presence of Aldi in the US, but at least especially in my area they’ve been growing a lot recently. Like Aldi bought out some local failing grocery chains where I live (Louisiana) and have opened Aldis in all these somewhat rural communities and small towns, which for the record I’m fine with
But as a result of this they are advertising a lot more in my area and also in many cases, the people in these areas have never been confronted with Aldi or any European grocery store. So the ads that Aldi is pushing out to its new US customer base feature a cowboy shopping at Aldi who is explaining to new Aldi customers how Aldi works. Like this cowboy is explaining you gotta put a quarter in the shopping cart and why there are very little name brands. A cowboy is how they want to reach their American customer base. They gave us a cowboy
Here he is, the Aldi Cowboy
ill watch a movie and be like wow this was great i had so much fun what a joyful experience i bet everyone else loved it too and check imdb and it has a 5.7/10 rating
#fun fact this is often because males review movies at far higher rates #something like 70% of online movie reviews (even when they're crowdsourced/amateur-written) are written by men #i see this effect show up the strongest when i see an amazing female-led/directed movie and it gets insanely low avg reviews #which happens a lot #in fact there was a post recently on /r/movies about just that... one sec. ok here ya go: #https://www.reddit.com/r/movies/comments/18vqlbw/anybody_else_think_that_imdb_ratings_are/ #you used to be able to look up age/sex data of reviewers on imdb but they recently stopped making those stats publicly accessible #bc the data clearly showed systemic male bias and dominance in reviews #however imo there are also plenty of great movies that people only hate on bc they're dumb philistines (not sexists) lol
This is an excellent story and use of free will, and a great example of why corporations want to know everything about us.
If credit card companies could access our medical records and see that someone is terminally ill, they would absolutely block you from ever getting approved. You’re too high risk.
Data privacy is key to escaping the total control that corporations want to have over our lives. If we lose it, we risk losing our freedom.
Hannah Spencer is honestly so based for calling out MPs for having subsidised alcohol at work. That's actually a PERFECT example of wasted taxpayer money, yet mysteriously no politician until now has identified it as such. She's also 100% right that nobody else would be allowed to do their job or make important decisions drunk.
I hate how politicians keep missing the real cause of youth unemployment, deliberately I think. They're not unemployed because they're lazy, on benefits, or mentally ill. They're unemployed because the jobs aren't. Freaking. There. Believe it or not, for people to be employed there need to be jobs. For them to be able to afford to live, those jobs need to pay enough to cover the cost of living near and travelling into that job. If they are disabled either physically or mentally, they may need accommodations or more flexible hours which is even rarer.
Reason number 1 for the high youth unemployment: companies are actively reducing their staff because they don't want/can't afford to pay all their staff = less jobs. Even the government has been firing their people. Don't tell people they're lazy for not having a job when YOU are also playing a part and taking away jobs.
Reason number 2, the jobs that ARE hiring now have more people competing for them because people have been laid off. Obviously they're going to choose the more experienced people. This locks out younger people with less work experience altogether, especially the COVID generation who were locked up inside for nearly 2 years and when there simply WEREN'T jobs going because people were on furlough and everything was closed.
Without having a job already and a way to save up income, young people then have less mobility which makes it EVEN HARDER to get a job. How are you supposed to afford driving lessons and buy a car to get to a job, or move cities for a job and rent a house if you have no savings? Even public transport is expensive now, and also doesn't get you to many places unless you're lucky enough to live in the right location. And of course people still need to live, hence they end up on benefits because what are you supposed to do if nobody will employ you? Die?
Car drivers who flash to let you know they've seen you indicating when you want to switch lanes so that you know they won't speed up while you're switching, ily.
Nooooooooo they killed off Nairobi!!! I can't believe they murdered our queen. After all that. I hope they kill Gandia violently that racist homophobic bastard.
