Opinions on legalizing medical marijuana

Medical Marijuana is beneficial in so many ways more than people, or even myself knows. Besides using is for medical purposes that relate to cancer, seizures and various other illnesses, we could cut out fossil fuel dependency almost entirely. A crop of cannabis grows astronomically faster than we can collect oil, and we all know we cant reproduce oil. But that also cuts out the need for trees as paper. Plus, what about its harmful affects on our atmosphere? There are endless reasons as to why not only medicinal marijuana needs to be legalized, but it also needs to be available for scientific experimentation. This blog is for other medical marijuana supporters, to post their FACTS, and research on the affects of medical cannabis, and also what it can do to change the industry environment entirely.

Medical Marijuana VS Recreational in southern states

Why is it so important to support medical marijuana VS recreational?

This is an argument I have come across quite a few times since going to Denver.  People from the mile high city, push recreational marijuana not realizing the psychological affects it has on "non-marijuana acitvists." The goal here is the change someone's mind or perspective on marijuana. Jumping into recreational isn't going to convince anyone around here, "why" it should be legal, much less recreational. You have to understand that the people here who actually believe the government jargon about marijuana being a schedule I narcotic, are hearing "hey lets make this schedule I narcotic a recreational drug!"

The first step needed to be taken in spreading the word and educating people about medical marijuana,is understanding! You have to understand that not everyone is going to catch the bait you're casting about medical marijuana. Being educated on marijuana is the first thing thats going to catch someone's attention. "Wow, this person really knows their stuff," they will say, and then have confidence that what you are confiding in them is actually true!

The second step as to why its important to support medical marijuana over recreational, here in the south is because medical marijuana would be for patients who NEED it. Once you go into detail as to why someone with a certain medical condition needs medical marijuana, they will be more open to listen to you about how you actually have an endocannabinoid system that needs THC/CBD everyday. Thus leaving room for you to explain why you actually need some THC and CBD in your body for maximum health.
