Another Les Nombrils (The Bellybuttons) self insert post but more zesty this time tehe :3 , I love drawing in a similar style it’s a good change of pace.

A series I love that may be forever in limbo..however I felt a bit silly and wanted to make a insert for the comic series!

Never was good at french and struggle to understand/read it myself, however they thankfully have english translation of the comics online that never made it to shelves.

"The whorl was void of light, with only Apiichii shining brightly in its depths. It was here, in the calm domain of the sea goddess, that Orryn, the god-slayer, was imprisoned once again. The council decided that Apiichii’s steady and gentle nature made this the right place for Orryn to release their endless rage into the void. Apiichii spoke little, if at all, in response to Orryn’s outbursts. The god-slayer raged like a thunderstorm, sparks of lightning flying wildly as they struggled inside their bubble-like prison. Apiichii a Sea Goddess who lives in the whorl , where little to no light emits and she floats around as she pleases, she is said to be a ancient being who was formed of sand and sea water, creating life under the seas.. though she seems to always have a distant look on her face as if she is looking for something.

A lovely merman!...dare I say i’ve lowkey been entering my mermaid arc? LOL this was just a sketch at first but I’m happy I colored it I really need to color more but I just simply augh..can’t sometimes >:( I know I probably shouldn’t be throwing mermaids up outside of mermay but ehh f*ck it~!
