Bitches love when Andrew Eldritch screams INCOMING!! on Ribbons
Oh, this triggers an odd and convoluted anecdote. Bear with me.
In approx 2010, a friend recorded me howling INCOMING in my best Eldritch style and set it as his message alert. I regretted it instantly, and more so for weeks thereafter until his girlfriend forced him to change it.
It was likely recorded in the Henry Price Student Residence, adjoining St. George's Field, where the Sisters took an iconic early photograph.
A photograph I would emulate in 2014 when I formed a short-lived tribute act to the Sisters, having decided to double-down on my aspirations to impersonate Eldritch, and faithfully recorded on the premier blog "I Was A Teenage Sisters of Mercy Fan".
All of which rambling and reminiscing proves that not only is space curved in Leeds, so too is time - warped by the taciturn singularity that is Andrew Eldritch. Cheers!
