I don't know if it's (partly) in reaction to people who bend over backwards to explain things between two dudes we don't know and never will as complete Straights Only hetero behavior 100%!!… but now I'm seeing more jkkers who are veering in the complete opposite direction and stating that jk/jm/jmjk, two dudes we don't know and never will, are sooo~ Gay yes I know because of somewhat arbitrary or even completely irrelevant reasons. What's more... these comments are presented as facts and there's this kind of attitude baked into these statements that those who do not agree with them and see what they see are willfully ignorant and blinding themselves from what they want to consider as utter fact. The only thing we can say as people who are not jm and jk is that they have a close, deep, loving bond. I see those troubling, iffy posts with dozens and hundreds of likes. It's so easy to slip into this mentality. Let's not encourage this kind of thinking or behavior in ourselves and others. Even if I think that one or the other is in the LGBTQ community or that they're dating each other, I would never believe it to be 100% true without their confirmation and I would never state it as fact. Let's just enjoy the endless moments we are given a glimpse of and remain supportive of them no matter what their identity or dating status is. I don't want to see this community devolve into toxicity, let's help keep each other in check while enjoying all the mingyukkie content we are lucky to witness.
