It’s the little details that make us happy and that includes skin details. Do you want your sims to have lil ear holes when they aren’t wearing earrings? Or a reminder of those pierced ears your sim got as a teenager and now regrets as an adult? Some earrings don’t perfectly align with the skin detail unfortunately but if you have an ear slider you can move the earlobe around to fit.
