Erin reaches for her backpack and takes out a folded paper bag, from which she takes out a pink box of macarons. “I have a swimming buddy named Karl,” she begins while admiring the beautiful packaging. “He lost a bet, so he was forced to buy me this!” Erin chuckles at the memory and walks towards Flo as she opens the box to grab a pistachio-flavoured macaron for herself. She then sits beside her roommate and offers her some.

Flo grabbed a light-colored macaron, the vanilla flavored one that she loves very much. "Thanks," She mumbled, through her furious chewing, trying to channel her anger onto the poor piece of pastry. As she continued to take small, her hands seemed to choke the macaroon, causing the pastry to crumble, leaving a trail of pale, coarse powder on her lap and the dorm floor. Flo hurriedly scrambled for a tissue to sweep the mess off, "'m sorry. I just.." She sighed.
