The Future Of Yesterday
The surrealist style, and vivid imagination of illustrator Julien Pacaud and his ability to stop the viewer in their tracks with dynamic imagery full of retro characters from the 20th century, sees our world remixed into technicolor landscapes on a grand scale. Reminiscent of James Rosenquist's work from the 1960's, you get the sense that Pacaud is, among other things, a fantastic visual storyteller with a great sense of humor.

The most unfettered imagination belongs to young people, and they don’t walk through life; they fly. - Rod Serling in 1963.
TO SERVE MAN
Stay Lit
We are the ones society tells you not to be; yourselves. We promote positivity, individuality, self-love, creativity and an open mind. There's never a need for doubting yourself, bullying others or having boundaries when choosing who you want to be. Everyone has an ambience - a light - and it should stay radiating no matter what. Don't dim your shine for anyone. - Juwan Ali

They took the whole Cherokee Nation And put us on this reservation- Took away our ways of life The tomahawk and the bow and knife.
They took away our native tongue And taught their English to our young- And all the beads we made by hand Are nowadays made in Japan...
BEAR BULL : RAIN CHIEF
Blackfoot Tribal Rain Chief Bear Bull ( whose actual name was : Kyaiyi-stamik & known also as Sótai-na’ ), was born in 1859 between the Battle River and the Saskatchewan River. Drawn in charcoal here by artist Stephanie Campos as referenced from the original 1926 photograph by Edward S. Curtis. Blackfoot elders wore their long hair in a traditional arrangement, twisting it into a coil projection of 7 or 8 inches from their forehead and smearing it with red earth. There were 11 Blackfoot military societies, progressing in order from the Mosquito to the Bulls. Traditionally, a man spent about 4 years in each society, then sold his membership to a younger man and bought one from an older man in the next society.
