KILL AI AND REBLOG AND CREATE ART IN 2026
"I got that dog in me"
The dog in question:
so I got into grad school today with my shitty 2.8 gpa and the moral of the story is reblog those good luck posts for the love of god
okay so i just got my dream job??? a week after applying to it?? and now i’m thinking….maybe this is the good luck post
…..not even six hours later i got an offer of a well paying full time long-term job with free room and board in queens in nyc, allowing me independence and a way to escape an abusive situation and an unhealthy environment
likes charge reblogs cast, folks, this is the good luck post
i need all the help i can get for finals
Hey so
the last time I reblogged this post right before I got a great job, in a permanent work-from-home position, with benefits, retirement, and a salary literally 3x what I was making before, doing something I really like.
So you know.
This might be the real one, y’all.

having used tumblr as a teenager is a vaccination against using tiktok today
i realize you’re probably half-joking but legitimately having this level of control over what i see on my dash and not having the popularity of my posts determined by The Algorithm makes using tiktok feel like my body is fighting a Disease

When Trump won the election in 2016 I felt like the world was going to end. It was my first presidential election, and it felt like the stakes had never been higher. Leading up to it, I, in early collage classes, had tried to convince various classmates to vote, and they had mostly said they weren't going to. When the results came in, I broke down. I am not a pretty crier. I was blubbering in a hallway, trying to avoid overt attention and concern, but I could Not calm down A faculty member who I initially waved off while they were on their way out off their office saw that I was still there on the way back into his office and decided to help. He refused to be waved off, and walked me down to the student center he worked in, and talked to me about prior elections. The exact words escape me, but he had perspective I lacked. There had been bad election results before But the nature of the fight for justice is it doesn't end. There is always more good to do. And if we start from a worse position, we start from a worse position. The world didn't end. The world is complicated, multi layered, and there is only the kindness that we make. There are untold harms to be undone. But you aren't alone, to do every kindness. You aren't alone to undo every harm. Every day is full of doing your best. And it is not kind to yourself to crack yourself open on every new thing that happens. Meaningful change can happen in so many different ways. Some good, and some bad. But time doesn't stop; there is always the chance to change it again.
I need hope. I need something positive to latch on to. Please
yayyyyy hurrayyyyy yippeeeee
Daily reminder that we do not actually live in a dystopian movie put the apocalypse down and back away slowly. You know when your cleaning a room and you pull everything out of it's draws to sort through it and you're like "what the fuck have I done I'm never going to be able to tidy all of this" I think that's the stage we're at in the world. Thanks to social media we've pulled out all the messed up shit from the cupboards of the world, it was always there but now we can see it and we're going to have to sort it all out we made this mess and we can fix it. Falling to the floor sobbing will not clean a crusty room. A group of people working systematically (preferably with music in the background) will.
*through gritted teeth* the world is GOOD. people are kind. Humans are NOT inherently selfish. you will make it through this year. recovery is possible. people you don't know yet will love you. You are going to do things you can't even imagine right now. You are going to read a rlly good book. You are going to eat some rlly good food. You are going to experience joy again. Things can get better. Situations can change. You can choose to be kinder. The world can change for the better.
may all your favorite fanfic writers never lose their hyperfixation and love for your blorbos so they keep writing fanfics about your blorbos forever
Actually, my therapist has told me this is a healthy way of processing things. Because you can get the trauma out of your head And you can write the ending you wish it had. The trusted person rescue, the catharsis of getting to kill the one who hurt you.
It's good for your brain. It's healthier than bottling it up. Fiction is where we go for emotional release. That can be true with trauma too.
so what you're saying is
character: NO
therapist: YES
Adding @dear-massacre's tags because they are so true:
#this is why it's important to remember that fictional characters are fake #they have no agency. they're made up #it hurts no one to make any character go through the horrors #it is healthy and cathartic
yeah okay ill reblog that
I need more people to read this because we are at an all-time literacy low where certain people think that making fictional characters go through bad things is bad, or that it makes you a bad person for liking "bad fiction". That is not the case at all.
