Sicily for enRoute. Gallery now up on the website. We still use websites don’t we?
Today’s takeover is by photographer Grant Harder (@grantharder), who writes, “I’ve lived in BC my entire life and I am continually blown away by the landscape and cultural diversity in this area of Canada.” When asked what his favorite places are, he responds, “The ones that are hard to get to.” Here, All the Beach You Can Eat Cabins on North Beach Haida Gwaii. // #travel #travelphotography #naturephotography #landscape #landscapephotography #contemporaryphotography http://ift.tt/2bqISxQ

These brilliant little suckers weren’t the easiest subject to work with but damn are they beautiful. With an ever so slight turn of the head their feathers could go from a deep dark black to iridescent oranges, reds and purples.
Photographed for Montecristo Magazine. Out now.
Along the Cowboy Trail in the south west of Alberta.
In the mountains above Smithers, BC.
View from the garden at Fishers’ Loft Inn. Port Rexton, Newfoundland. If you go, stay here.

Neon by Andrew Hibbs. Shot for Maisonneuve Magazine.
Andrew not only built this piece specifically for our shoot but he also suggested the location, brought a generator and helped install it in the water. HI-5! Andrew’s father was also in the neon business and created some of Vancouver’s most iconic signage, including the lights of The Astoria Hotel, just down the street from me.
