(Jan 2) Alright, this is absolutely mortifying for me, actually my worst nightmare, so you’ll please forgive the intrusion and the audacity
My financial situation is increasingly dire. My gender clinic payment hit my account yesterday, so now I’m overdrawn by £10.76
I am starting a new job tomorrow (Jan 3) but because I’m missing the payday rollover day, I won’t actually receive any payments from my new job until Feb 25
My job that I just left was a draining, toxic, racist, disgusting company that worked me to the bone and treats its employees like utter shit. I was part of a mass exodus at the company. They asked for a four week notice period, and I worked 1.5 of those weeks, but I ultimately decided to not work the rest of my notice period, due to my deteriorating… everything. It was making me physically ill to work there. Because I couldn’t work my full notice period, they are penalising me by withholding my payment in lieu of untaken holiday days. They owe me 15 days, and the payment is due to hit my account on Jan 12, but I have no idea how much, if any, I’m going to receive
I simply need to survive until Jan 12 at the earliest, but even then I have no idea how much assistance I will continue to need until Feb 25. I know that I will need £545 by Feb 1, for rent.
I have paid my rent for January already, so this isn’t a problem
