browsing tumblr again feels kind of cathartic, it's almost like a sense of freedom to me. i feel like every since a few years ago a majority of internet drama has been on twitter. even though twitter has always been huge, now its just spiraling out of control

i think for that reason going back to tumblr will be really good for me, it'll be a nice break away from all the craziness that happens on twitter. and i know now more than ever i dont need anymore of the craziness. especially since this website puts more of an emphasis on the "media" part in social media, if i find the right accounts i can probably make this a pleasant experience for me

i can tap back into the artistic side of things, because i've been so far away from myself that i can't really recognize my own interests and what pleases me. i can start to pick back up the pieces of what i like visually and aesthetically. art has always been such a big part of who i am and not indulging in it for so long has been really painful for me

but anyways, im trying to write a journal every day or more so ill be here more
