One of the things that never fails to amaze me about the DISGUSTINGLY talented puppet makers for the Jim Henson Company is that they can create something that looks alive even when it’s not being manipulated?

Like, look at these guys. They look like actors, not puppets or dolls! Kylan looks like he’s sneering at the camera and Deet looks taken aback as if someone’s just shoved a camera in her face.

These people truly amaze me!

The Dark Crystal Behind the Scenes Photo of Jen in Aughra’s Observatory, which was not only the home to Aughra, but also to the crystal shard when Jen found it. It was here that Jen learned of the Great Conjunction, for as Augrah claimed,

“Everything in the heavens is here, moving as the heavens do. This is how to know when… Suns, moons, stars. Yes, the angle of eternity.” The Observatory was destroyed by the Garthim.
