Him asking for forgiveness because he run away and felt bad, and lived all those years still with the fear that god wouldn't forgive him, that no one would forgive him, for choosing love instead of a life of absolute devotion

Getting that forgiveness from Father, from God, knowing he didn't do wrong especially because he felt guilty all those years and getting to hear that he didn't do wrong fro not going back to become a priest not even for not saying goodbye, that he should forgive himself first and love himself more. Finally taking away that weigh off his chest, finally accepting himself, it's such a strong message

I was dieing from anxiety during the whole episode especially after this scene

I thought Aunty Lek had just put more doubts in his mind

Then Tanrak go and does this

And I thought did he decide to go back? Did he thought, because Barth found God again, he could go back too? Or did he finally understood that if he loves Barth he can love God too, he doesn't need to let them go too?

When the scene after got back to the start of the series, in the future, I knew!

Than Barth wakes up to a Tanrak ready. What for? A new life together or...?

And I started breathing again!

I mean, I would've totally understood the ending if Tanrak got back to Madelaine House and become a Priest, like he always had pictured himself to be.

But at the same time I totally couldn't accept it.

Not after everything this story showed and represented during this short but mindful journey.

The message that it left at the end It's worth more than anything else 🥹🥺❤️
