u know how ppl in the past probably had body hair (as in didnt remove it) but in art theyre still depicted as hairless? like im thinking abt those ancient greek paintings n statues that depict a long bushy beard n bush but not an ounce of pit hair or those paintings of women throughout history that depicted them as perfectly hairless anyways. now im imagining an artist depicting someone or basing their art on someone who has a full head of hair but chooses to instead make them bald for aesthetic reasons
