Do you just randomly miss Pyrrha? Because I do
excessivelyalive:
@greek-pyre liked for a starter
Getting out of the house for a little adventure had turned out to be more of a mess than Miriam had really been expecting it to be. She doesn’t know the layout of this place, not like the compound and the surrounding town. There, she can go from place to place, winding in and out, either on her own or leaning into the arm of one of the other three. In this, she is alone, and something about that is far more nerve wracking.
So, with the time of day stretching towards night, Miriam decides to get over the bubbling anxiety in her chest, and finally goes to approach someone like it might help something. This girl seems nice. Or at least not murder-y. She’ll call that good enough, given she can still throw a nasty, nasty punch.
“Heyyy, hey you. Are you busy?” Miriam stretches up onto her toes, waving a hand frantically to get this stranger’s attention.
“I’m, well, uh, ridiculously lost. Do you know your way around here? I’d like to get home before its more dusk than day, and well, I’m losing time kind of fast.”
Pyrrha had always prided herself on how quickly she adapted to what was happening around her. Though there may be some internal fighting, she pretty much always knew what to do to make herself feel a little bit more comfortable. This time, she found a cafe that made her feel like she had a little piece of home.
Setting a path, she pretty much knew how to get to the shops, the cafe, then back to her complex. If anyone asked her where to go, she would have a general idea, and that was truly put to the test when a hand caught her attention.
“M-me? Busy? Not at all, how can I help you?” She stammers at first, the shock wearing off. “That depends on where home is? I’m quite new here as well, but I will help as best as I can.”
She stares down at the woman and gives a warm smile. It had been quite a while since she was greeted with an energy like that. The hair reminded her of most of her beloved teammate, which she kept to herself.
“If you’re headed towards Celestia Apartments, that's where I’m headed too.”

@greek-pyre ♡’d for a starter
It’s hard for her to remember, at times, how to keep a level head. A darkness like this is overwhelming almost, a reminder of less pleasant times. Like she expects to see some familiar face in the peripheral of her view— Sara has shook off some of her fears and holds her head up steady, and yet…naturally, she cannot help but be fearful of a relapse here— it’s much easier to throw herself into the motions of something close to a familiar routine. Investigate the strange tunnels, keep an eye out for any stragglers, and so forth. Easy to almost feel like she’s back there.
Having someone else there with her at least helps keep her mind focused- on keeping her mind from straying too much, at least. Prryha is a good reminder that she doesn’t need to put so much on her own shoulders ( but that is still a hard lesson to be learned nonetheless ). “Thank you.” It’s a bit of a soft murmur that passes through her lips as she takes the hand offered out to her and pulls herself back onto her feet. “Sorry, I just…lost footing there fore a moment. Let’s keep going.”
The darkness was unsettling, having floated around for what felt like an eternity until she showed up in Terra. Her hair was pulled back in her signature ponytail, finding it to be less cumbersome than keeping it down. Emerald eyes scan the darkness for anything or anyone around them.
Just because she fell off, didn’t mean her senses dulled.
Extending her hand, Pyrrha offers a small smile. Reminding herself that this was her fresh start, so if she wanted to make friendships, this would be a great place to start. Having forged many of her own friendships in times of peril, you would think she would be used to this.
“It is not a problem, just as long as you are okay.” She speaks slowly at first, looking ahead of them. “Do you think anyone else has ventured out far? I haven’t noticed many people coming through this way in particular.”
shadowveils:
Darkness, at once again it welcomed him back into it. Familiarity was something he couldn’t ignore with the ever eclipsed night now around him. This world was full of surprises, though all seemed to only remind him more of his past. Footsteps are gently taken as he walked the now empty streets in the barely lit walkway of the kingdom with what light they could provide.
Was it his imagination or was he also listening to someone else approaching near him? Was he being followed on purpose? Sensing it, his head turns to where the sounds were coming from as he held the hilt of the pirate cutlass he was given instead of his original sword. “Come out. I detest sneaking around, and loathe even more when others do it.” @greek-pyre
Pyrrha had set out on a mission of her own. To guide others through the tunnels, even though they probably didn't need her help. She worked alone, for the time being, not mustering up enough courage to venture out on her own.
Walking quickly and quietly, she spotted someone in the distance. Unsure if they were actually dangerous, she decided to keep her distance. That was until he called out to her. Not realizing that her calculated distance could be seen as a threat, she cocked a brow.
“Hello! I am most certainly not sneaking around. We just happen to be going in the same direction.” She speaks, voice light and feathery. Approaching him slowly, she pauses a few steps ahead. Nearly towering over him, she gives a small wave.
“Are you headed to the tunnels too?”
“A little adventure?” She muses, then she tosses her phone to the side. She was weaponless, but not helpless. She had her physical combat skills to aid her adventure, and just maybe, she could team up with someone else who had a little more defense.
Setting out on her adventure with a small backpack and essentials for travel, she takes a step out into the forest. Inhaling deeply, she sets off to complete her first task; blood of the Blackgrove demon.
“How does one call upon a...demon?”
“She’s just so stunning, the way her hair streams out behind her in the heat of the fray, the way her body twists and counters with such power, such grace, the way her lips curve up slightly and her green eyes sparkle with the thrill of the fight-”

The darkest night was upon her. The last thing the young huntress in training remembered was her journey to the top of beacon tower. There was only one way to stop the madness and it was her duty to protect the ones she loved. After dismembering one of her good friends, it seemed to be the only thing to do. To fight in honor of her memory.
After she took an arrow to the ankle, everything went black. She was floating for what seemed like an eternity, until she was standing in an unfamiliar place. Her weapons were long gone, and she felt oddly empty. A faint burning in the middle of her chest faded as she was dragged along to the new city of Terra.
She hadn’t left her living quarters in days, almost too afraid of what the city had to offer. The message was clear, it was not safe to be alone outside. She had limited use of her power and it wasn’t as clear as to when she would get them back. The apartment was nice, though rather lonely. She heard many voices coming from the hallways during the day, the need to socialize prodding her like it never had before.

Being the quiet, not very social type has always kind of been his thing. It’s nothing new to him. But the lengths he’s gone through to avoid any kind of contact, until now that is, with Nora, is something he’s never really dabbled in before. It’s extremely difficult for him to pinpoint just what the hell he’s doing? She’s his best friend. Typically, best friends don’t ignore each other the way he’s avoided her like the worst kind of sickness imaginable. He should feel bad for the way he’s been treating her, or not treating her, whichever works better. But…something keeps telling him to not let up his defense mechanisms. Still not even daring to look up at her and meet her gaze, he continues working on his sketches, so lost in thought that the’s just barely comprehending the things she’s saying directly to him. “Yes. I…have a lot of school work to catch up on. Busy time of year.” he practically says into the paper he’s drawing on.
That’s when her last comment arises. He had pretty much forgotten the fact that Nora would know when he saw her texts and decided to just not answer at all. Sweat beading down his brow, he really cannot find an appropriate answer to that. How can he possibly respond? What is he supposed to say?
For some reason, he still refuses to give in, refuses to let himself be vulnerable, keeping himself as composed as can be, still avoiding eye contact. This time though, his eyes slowly drift away from his drawing to just look around the room, anywhere but where she’s looking at him.
“I…it’s…you wouldn’t understand.”
Busy.
Something about that statement doesn’t sit well with her. She understood that they were students first and foremost and that exams had taken up pretty much all of their time around this time of year. Even Nora knew, that that was a phony excuse to get out of saying what was really going on. Crossing her arms over her chest, her face takes on one of annoyance.
That was until he tried again, still refusing to look in her direction.
Panic gripped her stomach as she thought about the possibility of him not wanting to see her again, but yet, she maintained her ground. Going through a few varients of what the hell is that supposed to mean in her head, she lets out a heavy sigh. She knew he didn’t talk much and that she did most of the talking, but it had never been this bad. There was nothing that they couldn’t get through, and she believed in that more than she believed in anything else.
“I wouldn’t understand?” She said after a few moments of stewing. “Look, just because I may be a little over the top sometimes, doesn’t mean I can’t understand human emotion.”
Hopping off of Jaunes' bed, she approached his desk in order to grab his attention. Nora was very confrontational when it came to everything except for Ren. For some reason, he was the only thing that made her think before she spoke. Waiting for him to finish a stroke, she carefully plucked the drawing utensil out of his hand.
“Ren, what's going on?” She asks softly, trying to prevent her voice from cracking. “Why wont you just talk to me?”
lotusstorm:
He’s honestly not even sure what’s come over him. He’s never done anything remotely like this, let alone to his best friend. Lately, he’s been feeling some intense emotions in regard to Nora, and quite frankly, has no idea in the slightest how to process them. It’s not anger per se, it’s… a lot of things. Things that he can’t quite put his finger on. What started as just thinking to himself he’d get back to her eventually turned into full blown ignoring out of panic, and here he is, nearly a week later, avoiding Nora in any way he possibly can.
Maybe I’m finally feeling the weight of everything I’m trying to juggle crashing down all at once, he thinks to himself. The pressure of everything, maybe it’s all too much. Or maybe, I’m just running from something. But what? This afternoon, he notices another text from Nora, deciding to once again not even grant her any kind of response. Out of all of this, the one surprising thing is that she hasn’t come to check up on him in person yet. Is this what he’s trying to do? Is he maybe subconsciously trying to lure her over here? That can’t be, can it? Confrontation after all, was never something Ren has been good at, it seems like Nora’s better at that sort of thing with her outgoing personality.
Deciding he’d work on some tattoo sketches to take his mind off of things, he takes a seat gently, quietly beginning the drawing process, only to be interrupted by a loud bang on the door.
Uh oh.
While he knows what’s about to happen, he casually continues his drawing, not even looking up as she approaches him. Mostly because he’s way too nervous, and cowardly at that, to look her in the eyes. He hates hurting people, and seeing the potential hurt, anger in her eyes is too much for him to bear.
Her words almost just miss him completely as he nearly zones out, but just barely manages to comprehend her.
“Oh. Hey.”
Her eye twitches as he oh so casually greets her. A million words cross her mind, that may make her look crazy, but she definitely wanted to say them. She had spent the last week combing through everything she had done to possibly upset him, or hurt him, and she couldn't think of one instance. Perhaps she was being too clingy, or too distracting.
Too much.
Hoisting herself up onto Jaunes' bed, she taps her fingers on the wood. Something was really wrong, and he wasn’t talking to her about it. Not that it’s a big deal, but it was a big deal to her. Nora had always been the type to be mostly upfront with how she felt about certain situations, and Ren was never in the dark. Maybe it was naive of her to think that maybe there was something else between them.
She started to wonder if Ren even had romantic feelings towards her. The blushing, hand-holding, dates but not really dates, all of that seemed a little too intimate for just friends. After everything that they had gone through, she didn’t want this to be where it all ended.
“Oh hey? What am I, some old friend you haven’t seen since high school?” Rolling her eyes, she could feel her body temperature rising. “I see you’ve been keeping yourself busy, huh?”
Leaving an open window for conversation, she was sure he could feel the pressure building up behind him. Though she had put a lot of the pent up anger and frustration into her workout, it still was a lot to unpack.
“Or maybe you kinda forgot that you had a phone. Wait. There's no way because you’ve seen every message.” Her tone is straight-up sarcastic. While fighting the urge to fall into a passive-aggressive vent, she stares at the back of his head. “Got anything on that?”
[ 12:30 pm]: Hey, I don’t know if you’re busy or not, but Froyolo has a deal going on and I’m ready for some yogurt!
Read 12:52 pm.
“AGAIN?” Nora had never been one to control her volume. Always the loudest in the room, most of her teammates had learned to block it out. Her massive amounts of energy made her an asset, and quite frankly, she could probably pummel them all if needed.
Aggressively curling her weight with one arm, she stares at her phone. Ren hadn’t been answering any of her texts or calls, which wasn’t exactly normal. He was quiet and reserved, and she knew he liked his space, however, it was unlike him to let her know. Being left on read for a week was starting to get old and she was tired.
Before barging in his room, she decided to blow off some steam.
